How to get your JERKBAIT to suspend properly/TIPS &TRICKS

the fall and winter months are a grest time to start tossing a jerkbait around to get those lathargic slow moving bass to bite because that jerkbait will sit suspended giving the fish more time to get over to the bait i hope this video helps you in some way and hopoefully i was informative enough to give you some hope if you have not tried using a jerkbait before any questions you have leave them below and i will try to answert them to the best of my ability !! thanks for checking me out and until next time keep them lines wet cuz its all about the hookset !!!

Very informative my young friend! I grew up in the 70’s and I was not aware of the wire wrap around the rear treble until I watched your tutorial. Very good to know in a pinch. I’ve been a suspend dot kind of guy ,bc Rapala quality control in China Doesn’t always live up to our expectations.

Good info, most don’t even know that a Jerkbait if it’s suspending that they have to be tuned with suspend dots or strips with nose down. Oh and diggin that #Eagles hat! New sub here, from the #215, #kensington now in #soflo

Myself I would worry about if I used wire around the shank that it would take away from your hook gap so the suspend strips are the best way

For the slow rising. Once you have your fishing line on it. It will suspend. But good tips

I use a ceramic razor blade to trim them down ,works great it doesnt cut into the clear coat! Sweet video though brotha

You can get some lead tape, they use it for fake pain glass windows. That’s real easy 👍
