Depending on which Luhya version (Nyanza, inyanza, Nyanja, Inyanja). LAKE VICTORIA NEEDS TO BE RENAMED lake Nyanza. We don't even know who Victoria was and what did she do for Kenyans? At least Thompson tunamjua and he was a good guy and spoke so well about the Maasai and the Luhya and the Kikuyu.

Abardare IONDOLEWE Lake Victoria IONDOLEWE. The local name of the lake before wazungu wakuje was Nyanza. Nyanza is a Luhya word that means lake ( most people erroneously assume its a jadhe word but its' not. they borrowed the word from Luhyas) and that's what we called it before tubandikiwe victoria. Who the hell was Victoria? I mean tunajua alikua queen wa wazungu but what did she do for us Kenyans? UBEBERU mtupu.
