WOW Stephen ! What a place. No wonder its busy at those prices. Those large sausage rolls in the window for £1.20 are £5.00 in the museum where I work ! Can't wait to return in the New Year and try this place.

Memories, first job at 16 in Blackpool at a T shirt printing company round the corner from here. Used to go and grab lunch for all the workers during season ( To escape the busy shop floor, the slacker I am ) - The barms from here got us through sweltering hot days and those beautiful meats got us through the frigid winters. I'm glad the place is still going over a decade and a half later, the staff were always top and friendly. I do miss the comaradare of blackpool's workers in the season. I left for a career in IT but it wouldn't have been possible without those long shifts in the season.

I used to live in Blackpool about 10 years ago. I went to that shop about three or four times a week . The food is bang on and when i visit the town i always call in ,lol the staff was always nice as well!

How can you have not tried Abingdon bbq before now, I always visit when I'm up in Blackpool they do amazing food I even took a gammon shank back home to Swindon as so tasty and a great price 😀

I visit Blackpool 3 or 4 times every year for a week at a time. I go to the Abingdon Barbecue every single day when I am in Blackpool. On the day I go home I spend about £20/£25 in there on things to take home with me. Lovely shop and quality always consistent.

Hey that's what I made today. Hot roast,sandwiches. Roasted 2 joints of beef. Cooled, fridged. Cut into finger thickness slabs, boiled gently in filtered water with bovril cubes. Salt and peps. Beef super soft and chunky served on a Sheldon's bottom baked muffin buttered with a touch of English mustard. Melt in your mouth tackle. Yumster 👌

Beat the cost of living crisis. One of those ham shanks for $3.50, a whole chicken for £6.50 along with a couple of cheap loaves of bread, throw in one or two of Chris's burgers, and you could feed yourself for a whole week for less than £15. 👍

I always pop in there when I'm in the area. Whitegate Dr near Bell Vue there is a delicious take away/ eat in too, next to the chemist. I'm Starving now..off to the kitchen 😂🎉❤

Been going there for years when on holiday from Scotland and the sausages that you get on your rolls they actually sell them raw to cook yourself I usually take 3 to 5lb of sausages back up to Scotland lol and the chicken and they do a great chicken curry

Didn't know it was still going,used to call it deansgate chicken shop along time back and was great then too.Don't know if it's still there but just round the corner was a cafe called the warwick.The clientele was pure Blackpool , it was rough n ready but the home cooked meal's and staff were bloody great👍❤
