I remember as a wee lad, being excited to see gambit and deadpool. I can forgive what they did to gambit but not what they did to deadpool if they had called the character weapon 11, it would be cooler. Good thing we have better movie deadpool in this.

The only reason it’s easier to stomach now is the Deadpool movies that followed. But absolutely unforgivable while watching it in 2009. Can’t wait to see Gambit in live action done RIGHT.
