I busted my ass for 10 weeks, working out more than I ever have. Eating more than I thought I possibly could. But it was WORTH IT.

But realise that their is no such thing as major body changes in such a small time frame. If you want to see real changes in your body composition it takes a lifestyle change, good diet and a long long time."_

One another thing I'd like to add, his form is atrocious in most excercises that are shown, the OHP at 4:45? Why isn't he using the full ROM? The curls right after; is that a front deltoid workout or what?! Where is the tension of his lower body in his pull-uos?! Every press form in the first half of the vid he doesn't use full ROM either. I don't know if its part of the training plan, and if it isn't I fear that many people will use this as their example of a beast workout, BUT I'd always advise: lower the weight, drop your ego, and focus on getting the form right.

TDM_ Myst isn’t that like... biomechanics ? If I’m not mistaken... Anyway... i agree.. This year I’m full on ‘gonna work out, lose weight... etc..’ I think that one of the problems with people who begin working out is watching a bunch of vids and setting unrealistic expectations, in a short amount of time.. so they do this shit and quit after a couple weeks... some, months. But yeah...

Im no workout enthusiast but it looks to me like he might be using HGH, just look at the acne that formed after the 5 week mark, virtually no acne on his back before doing the workout, then covered in acne after 5 weeks with 9 lbs of muscular growth and bad form?????? Yeah thats a little suspect.

On an online interview he said he had to go get iv fluids after a shoot. Disney basically scrubbed that from the internet. Dehydration and starching is a bodybuilding trick that is ok for a 3 hour competition, but when these actors are doing it for 5-6 he active shoots, it is dangerous and part of why paramedics are on standby along with possible injuries. Henry Cavill recently mentioned his how much it sucked that he had to do dehydration from Witcher.

And ive never seen a transformation where the person is doing a proper flex in the before short. Always always always posing with limp wrists instead of a hard, clenched fists flex. Just be honest! Theyll also droop their gut and let it hang out more, etc, just to make it all look worse than normal. Have to say though that this is one of the best/honest ones. Oh right >> there in recommended "we dieted like chris pratt for 30 days" Buzzfeed. The ole limp, just raise the arms in before - hard flex in the after. Right there in the thumbnail!

I’m ready to start a bulk for the first time in my life. A little over a year ago I decided to get in shape and not be so fat. I lost about 15 pounds the first 2 months. After a while I ended up losing 20 and I was squatting more weight than ever before. Then a couple months ago I started trying really hard and lost another 10 and felt myself getting weaker. Now that I’ve lost 33 pounds and went from 200 to 165-7 depending on the day I am ready to gain muscle. I know that if I keep losing weight I won’t get abs because they aren’t big enough. So now I’m going to do a 3 month bulk. I’m really typing this to give myself inspiration. Wish me luck guys

Solid transformation dude :) I know this vid was about three years ago and in all honesty don't know where you're at with your physique journey currently, so this coming advice could be totally irrelevant now. One thing I noticed was pretty common amongst your training footage was that you could kick up the effectiveness by taking your movements through the full range of motion. Things like taking your shoulder presses down to below your chin, full hang at the bottom pull-ups, taking the bar to your chest with bench press, keeping your arms extended at the bottom of db flys to keep the tension on the pecs and keeping your upper arm straight and focussing on the contraction of the biceps during curls. Guaranteed if you implement those changes you'll take your progress to the next level :)

That's definitely a solid point Anthony. Me not using supplements was just out personal curiosity, I wanted to see what I could do with just food and exercise. It was brutal stretching my stomach and adapting to that much food intake at first, but my body got used to it fairly quickly, so it wasn't too bad. Jerry Baker I haven't been working out in years. However, when I was at my peak I, as a short dude coming in at 167 cm had had a weight of 80 kg (not super high, it's very heavy for that size however). My food intake was so high my mother said she halved the money spent on food when I moved out. I have three siblings and stood for more than 50% of the food intake in our family. Then to the how. I worked out a lot, I was in good shape, I drank protein shakes and creatine as well, what I did most though was work out in small ways all the time. I never entered a gym, I ran a lot, lifted weights and did everything you can do at home. Going to the fridge to get something to drink? 20 push-ups just because I could. Finished washing my hands after going to the bathroom? 30 sit-ups or 15 pull-ups. Working out so much and so often made my body crave food in an almost alarming rate. I remember being hungry all the time and eating just a stupid amount of food. I got into the army and my weight was still gaining, they had a burger at the cantina you could buy, it was a whole kilogram in weight. Me and six of my army buddies bought one to try and eat it all. The only ones to finish was me and basically the biggest fattest bastard you could imagine. So the smallest guy there ate it all. Point is, it's a struggle, for a while. Then after a while you just realize you ate so much food you'd seriously puke if you did that six months ago. It's not about discipline if you just make it routine in the same way you make the workout a routine, then you'll never even think about it and it'll be easy.

If you want to rock a fitness model body/body builder body at 10% body fat then ya. You can adjust your diet to 4 meals a day or what ever suits your daily work schedule. isthislife2 - the idea behind intermittent fasting is to give your body a break from digesting, you still get your daily meals, you are in no way malnourished. Digesting believe it or not is the most strenuous thing your body does, it's why you fall asleep if you eat a ton of carbs. Or well ever want to sleep after eating a ton of pasta or a lot of steak potates etc... I am not in the best shape of my life right now lol, i eat too much but eh, my life circumstances right now. To add Hugh Jackman was never a really big guy, he never wanted to be, the only supplement he agreed to take was his protein shakes, his body is ripped for the movies because of his perfect diet. Note during his topless scene he went on a dehydration thing to get rid of water weight, you can't last long looking like that.

Just skipped to Dec 2019 and seen you've more or less reverted back to your old physique. I think the difference between you and the likes of your screen superheroes is that they do this for a living. It's not a sustainable way of life for most people, including Hugh J, as can be seen from when he plays other characters in films after and in between the likes of Wolverine. What a lot of people fail to realise is that many times he will get pumped in between takes to give that vascular look as well as, dare I say this, possibly some post-editing CGI to enhance certain takes (I'm speculating this claim but it wouldn't surprise me). Thumbs up for trying to replicate this but it does go to show how it isn't that simple a task to achieve unless you have a designated PT, quality food on tap and supplements are given to you. Most pro sports and bodybuilders rely on sponsorship, and no doubt are given their supplements in return for the free advertising they provide to likes of the 'common man' (Joe Public) who are fooled into thinking that if they take the same suplements HJ takes, "YOU TOO CAN GET A WOLVERINE BODY".

Working out actually makes hair grow faster because of multiple reasons. First. Exercise increases blood flow/circulation in the body and scalp. The more blood flows, the more the nutrients and oxygen is supplied to the scalp thus improving hair growth. Second. Working out increases testosterone which triggers facial hair growth and boosts metabolism, witch can spur hair growth and health. Working out also improves bodily health and the healthier you are, the stronger your hair growth and strength are.

5:41 - why can't people just be 100% honest. In the first picture you are hunched back like a dumb grouch and letting your whole body just fall over without flexing, and then of course in the after picture you are sitting up straight up and mighty with your stomach somewhat sucked in and your whole body flexed. NOW the worst part of all this is the before and after shot lighting. In the first shot you used light that would not cast any shadow drops and then meanwhile in the after shot you used lighting to your advantage and have the shadow drop effect to intensify every sort of bump in your body. I don't understand why people can't just be honest.

Don't forget the water fastings that Hugh did before every shirtless shot, so he could increase the muscle definition by practically having the skin as closest to the muscle fibres as he could. That's the biggest secret to that kind of Wolverine super shredded look.
@snowdjagha
@snowdjagha 6 жыл бұрын
Of course that's not healthy. He *only* did that before shooting specific scenes that happen like once in every movie: the shirtless scene.

Not gonna say anything too negative. But posture really makes a difference in a before and after shot. Looks like alot of killer bicep gains tho man.

I don't get how anyone with a job has time to eat like this tbh... I mean shit, you're supposed to eat like every 2-3 hours. If you work 8 hours a day how the hell are you supposed to do that. Especially if you have a job where your break time varies, or sometimes you don't even take a break.

As Crniwuk said, get some powder. A easy high calorie meal is muesli, full cream milk, wild berries and two scoops of whey. You can get over 1k calories at breakfast, then just eat some nuts and fruit throughout you work shift if allowed.
@CrniWuk
@CrniWuk 6 жыл бұрын
It's actually not THAT difficult to get a lot of calories in, if you know how to. Avoid anything with suggar really, as those are empty calories. But other than that, you simply go with what's healthy. People think you need an insane amount of food to get the calory surplus, but actually it's not as much as people think if you follow a rather normal workout routine with 3 days of training per week, then you just eat on those days a lot. And the rest can be filled with a bit of proteein powder. There is really no reason to overcomplicate things unless you really want to become a professional.

I just love, that all the videos that have before after pictures, are done in the same way.... The before pictures are lit from the sides or front. The after is lit always from above. This way if you even have a little chest muscle, than it will show much more, when you are lit from the front! :) You can progress with time, he did to! But please don't exaggerate or manipulate with light! Thank you!
