Incredibly thorough review for a quad that you know appeals to a small group of people in a hobby that is itself a relatively small group of people. If you were going to a bando bash you could literally bring 3 of these to play smashy smashy, trash em all and get away cheaper than any modern quad. Great job Albert.

I only have two packs ran and I accidentally ripped off the vtx antenna in a crash ,now I think I killed the vtx or antenna . So I will have to see how the reliability is in the future. I had fun setting everything up , I switched to edgetx, and elrs all at once and nevertheless it took me two days to finally get everything working.

I think it's good you brought this to our attention. Considering the time it takes to build a quad, this is a deal. I don't know if there's much room in this hobby for people that don't know what they are doing. You kind of have to learn it if you want to fly. It's all good to get a better known brand and just bind it up, but it will break and you'll have to learn a lot to fix it anyways. Thanks for the video! I'm going to be sharing this deal with others.

I'm looking for a quad to train and give my nazgul5 some relief, which one do you think would be more interesting this one in the video or a happymodel crux35 ??
@AlbertKimTV2 жыл бұрын
This one will be closer to the way the Nazgul5 flies but harder to setup. The Crux35 is pretty much ready to go out of the box but flies a lot differently compared to the Nazgul5. If you want to keep the flight experience more the same, this $88 quad will be better.

can you use the default props if you run it on a 3s lipo?

Maybe, but those props are terrible. Spend a few bucks for some better props. Almost anything will be better.

@AlbertKimTV2 жыл бұрын
Yes, you just need a matching receiver. The Frsky XM+ would be a popular choice.

Hey Albert, I bought this fpv drone in the TCMMRC store. I am still waiting for the deliver. I bought the cadd ratel 2 camera, because I saw that it has better quality. I also saw in the specs that they changed the 30a ESC to a 50a esc and they also added a new version of the flight control which is the F4129 flight control. Do you think I still have to limit the power at 90%?. When I bought it, I bought the RTF kit, which comes with the Xm+ receiver, radiomaster T8 lite and vr009 glasses. So when I received all, first I will make the set up from your video and then I will bind the controller and the glasses to the drone. Any recommendations? Thanks man
@AlbertKimTV Жыл бұрын
I don't recommend you use my tune for your setup because the parts are different and it won't be easy to know if something is wrong. The 90% motor output limit isn't needed anymore because of the upgrade in the ESC to 50A so you'll get more power out of your parts.

Long story short, you get what you pay for. Still a good banger for the money, IF you you actually know what your looking at in BF. That said, if you know what your looking at in BF, would you be looking at a 100 buck bnf??🤔🤷♂️ Thanks again Albert stay awesome

That's not relevant to this drone and this video. However, I have listed my daily gear in the description if you want to know the gear I use for controller and headset.

They price things relative to the dollar which is at historically high values against all other currencies...

I'm considering grabbing this as my first drone cos im on a budget. Being aware of the caveats I'm happy to try manage them. If it blows up well its not too much money down the drain at least. If it works then I don't have to stress as much about crashing it while I learn to fly either.

I would say there are better options for a first drone on a similar budget.

@@jvcerver Can you give some examples? I'll take a look at anything in this range
@jvcerver2 жыл бұрын
@@HighBoss 3 inch toothpicks like the Crux3 (either 2s or 1s) are cheap to buy, and repair. Low weight makes for better "crasheability". If a 5 inch is what you want... Perhaps a used one? I personally want a quad that can be in the air as much as possible with spares available for repairs.
@HighBoss2 жыл бұрын
@@jvcerver Should probably add that I want something that I can slap an action cam on (thinking Runcam Orange) at some point cos I'm interested in doing cine stuff and not so much racing and freestyle. A protek35 would be ideal but I'm trying to get in cheaper if I can. I've got no problem building something myself but it doesn't seem like that saves you much money when I look at the price of parts. Right now I'm just monitoring the 2nd hand market but I live in a small country and pickings have been slim so far.
@frankcastillo88692 жыл бұрын
@@HighBoss definitely don't get a used one. I've tried that before and got scammed with two drones from two different sellers. They sell them because it's been crashed and something is wrong with it. You don't find out until the thing is on fire. It's a bigger risk than buying from Aliexpress.

It depends on where you buy it. Some places will have various versions. Drone only, Drone and Radio only, or full RTF combo. The 1st link has different versions. The 2nd link is drone only. If you see this in other stores, see what combos they are selling in the product listing.
