The Absolute WORST Thing About College

This is actually hilarious to me, what you said about the ban, because one of my own university professors (yes, back in the Dark Ages!) was making a point about something and he said, “Let's say that Kathleen Battle is in the shower one morning and she really wants to sing one of those Puccini arias. But she knows that the walls are paper-thin, and if she belts out in that soprano voice of hers, the neighbors are going to have a fit.” Oh, I haven’t thought of that comment in ages… it still cracks me up, but the fact that there’s actually a ban is … highly amusing. That begs a question though: If everyone there was a GOOD singer, would the college “repeal” this “Prohibition”?

I bet if everyone could sing real well you’d hear it a lot more. I know if I had a voice like MJ you’d only hear me speak in Shamones and Hee-Hees 😂

i live off campus but im pretty sure that my walls are incredibly thin too and everyone can hear me sing, i get you its terrible. i had to join a choir because it was killing me
