Now that the fight is in the book so to say, a reunion with Wirbel and telling how this went down would be something he would love to hear. Yes he already learned that it is the small deeds Himmel had done that made the impact, and he strives to follow in his foodsteps, but sometimes you wanna indulge in the epic stories.

There was a break between chapters 110 and 111, and a spin-off "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Anthology" was released. Chapters are more comedic and most of them unrelated to the plot, but one of them is a story about Himmel and Heiter when they were kids. You might want to read the chapter about them. On mangadex it's chapter 2.

Ah man, it was just announced in Japan that the manga goes on an indefinite hiatus again after chapter 141 next week. No return date. Sigh, its suffering being a fan of the Frieren manga. Hope that means the author is involved in season 2 of the anime, the same long hiatus happened during the production of season 1.

To refresh the memory, yes Himmel got the replica sword when he was young. And there is actually a spin off chapter depict that bit in the Frieren Beyond Journey's End Anthology book. I think its around the right time to read that chapter during this arc and compensate a bit of the hiatus

The spin off are a nice addition, but they should be treated as not canon. After all what is shown and written in them is a flavor other authors/mangaka bring into the Frieren universe and they can be misleading as to when certain spells are present and so on...

@@boboyo3140 Well it is entertaining. But it has it's problems. Like Heiter as kid using three spears of the goddess is perhaps achronicle so taking it literally would mess things up. Seeing the Himmel fight looks impressive, but yeah it is an interpretation. It was released and promoted by the official Frieren channels, if you take that as "approved" then it is. But what kind of approved are we really talking about.

This ruin city probably was from United Empire era. It seems that Demons were able to cut "head" (current Northern Empire) from the rest of the body in the Northern Plato ( this was best weak point - hard terrain, tons of monsters and difficult to defend) and break up logistic. This probably what led Unify Empire to crumble something around 500-600 years ago (my guess - this was great debut of Seven Sages of Destruction and this is how they get such cool nickname. It look like Sages also took loses back then - for example Aura was a replacement). After that for several hundred years Northern Plato was for most part (aside north part close to Empire border with Weise serve as main outpost and logistic hub +some villages) inhabited, until 120+ years ago people try to recolonize it with efforts of Trade Company

bro can you please stop making stuff up as spreading them as facts. Who told you Aura was a seven sage replacement? she's canonically only ever being presented as one of the original sages. in fact, nothing in the manga indicates there was any replacement among the seven sages.

Especially on contrast with Macht, Shlaht, etc (as Graf Granat said - she BECOME Sage of Destruction 500 years ago = 400 years before Hero Himmel group killed Demon King (count + 80). On contrast Frieren meet Macht 600-700 years ago)

@@Алексей545-т6б Graf Granat NEVER said that, he never said she became a sage 500 years ago, Aura was BORN 500 years ago. Please, stop making up stuff and go reread the manga, you're misremembering a LOT of stuff. As far as we know, the seven sages as a group DIDN'T EXIST back when Frieren fought Macht for the first time. He was all alone after all. When the seven sages were formed, Aura was a part of them already.

Emm...of course Macht was alone back then, because Seven Sages of Destruction does not mean to be the group who spend time together. They were Generals and "head of the region" (commanders of huge portions of demon army) appointed by Demon King. Like Aura zone of control was placed around Graf Granat domain (which is why she was so focused on that) . So, yep, aside special cases like with battle against Hero of South, all Seven Sages stay apart from each other and rule over it own domain

Here's what he ACTUALLY says: "But they say that's never happened once in the 500 years of Aura's reign as one of the seven sages of destruction". Chapter 18, that's the official english translation of the manga.

Also - please on't take Heiter and Eisen lightly. I get that Himmel is hot, but they are ALL Important. Like Frieren said to Serie if either one of them was missing they would lose.

@@jannegrey I feel like I was hyping up everyone these chapters! The first one there was about Heiters faith in Himmel so maybe I was hyping Himmel up a bit much but I was talking about how fast Eisen is and how strong he is a couple times and how cool I think Heiter is 🤔

@@lindsayroutliffe It's just that after previous chapter I was worried that you might not notice how awesome they all are. Thankfully the earlier chapter (when they were imprisoned by Immortal Bose) seemed to have left a mark on you - after all it was Flex Bonanza, with Heiter arguably having the best flex (casting simple spell of not needing water, nourishment and oxygen for couple of months). It's just that I'm not used to people appreciating Heiter and Eisen - and even Anime did Heiter dirty in a scene in a dungeon where they prepare to fight Frieren's double. Yes, Heiter was drunk and "dead" as Himmel put it, but he still fought. Which wasn't shown in Anime. Thank you for your lovely reaction!
