Frieren Friday! Next bunch of chapters better read 116-119

Eisen is such a chad laying in that impact crater. It is reminiscent of him jumping from the cliff head first. Nice reminder how tough he is. (Also you missed the chance to say Heiter was appalled! Jeix.) The Frierenship between Heiter and Himmel is something else. Also we get a bit of Himmel lore, not only about the sword/replica, but that he grew up (and by proxy Heiter) on a boarder town. Kiesel's design is rock solid, as with dwarfs in Frieren the beard covers everything under the nose. It gives of this familiar but still new feeling. Well You had Kiesel right the first time you said his name. Then you changed the ie in order and made him into a pirate dwarf Aiii. By the way in German it would mean pebble stone.

Ah man, it was just announced in Japan that the manga goes on an indefinite hiatus again after chapter 141 next week. No return date. Sigh, its suffering being a fan of the Frieren manga. Hope that means the author is involved in season 2 of the anime, the same long hiatus happened during the production of season 1.

Lindsay please read the Manga! It would be such unique content because everyone else is waiting on the anime, and you’ll get to understand just how much incredible storytelling is waiting to be animated!

Funny that you bring up reading the Manga when a lot of people are thinking it was a calculated move to get people to rush out an read it to find out what happens (chapter 34 btw). The way the manga is paced this is actually a few pages into the chapter which they hadn't done before this episode. Another theory is that the leaked episodes forced them to launch the show early and there would have been a shorter wait between this and the next bit but starting earlier forced the second cour to be a second season. Red string and cork board aside the show still captured my attention through great animation and music even as a manga reader. Should you read it? I think your surprise at the wildness is a major point in favor of the show as a react channel, but you also like to catch the previews which isnt something many channels do. Maybe since the show so directly mirrors the manga you can read through them after the episodes air to compare?

They cut it off in the middle of a chapter which makes the last part way worse and I don't think it was a great choice honestly. Also if you read the manga I would watch the shit out of that plus the art is insane

When I read the manga for the first time, only in the first chapter I feared for Momo's integrity. This part in the manga is a less horrible, uncomfortable and defenitly not so long. and thank to the universe there are no more weird Momo (or any girl) assault scenes in the series I like your reactions to the series, now is the time to wait for season 2.
