I felt the same and then decided to invest in classes in Goethe Institute. It helped me a lot to finally put what I've learned so far in an order and to understand what is going on, because, literally, I felt lost when it came to grammar.

Anja. How can I express exactly my feeling that I love you so much and your lessons as well. I’m not actually learning German but I have a fancy for wandering on KZbin watching videos of languages coz I’m really into learning languages. I can speak English well. I’ve also learnt French, Spanish, Chinese and Japanese. I’ve been thinking about learning German recently and you are the one who motivates me a lot through your interesting and helpful lesson videos. How intriguing! Thank you for the lesson. When is "S " pronounced with an sss sound vs a soft "Z" sound ( exclude before consonants )? I hear some pronounce the s with a soft z sound then at other times with a soft s sound.
