The writers knew they were wack when they decided that the twins were created. The reason Anakin was created was because Darth Plagueis tried artificially creating life from the force and failed, which pissed off the force so bad it made Anakin essentially as the biggest fuck you possible. I don’t recall anyone else trying that before or after Plagueis. And if a sith lord couldn't do it how did a cult of witches pull it off. My head hurts just from hearing the plot of this episode.

That's absolute complete head canon. You can choose to have that be the story just like you did before this episode. That's not in any Lucas created story, that's not in any modern canon story, that's just complete fan head canon at this point.

I’m convinced that the point of this episode was that all the stuff from Osha’s point of view was to establish that she is an unreliable narrator. Childhood memories change and warp over time, and the traumatic ones especially only get more traumatic. I think we’re gonna get a scene where osha confronts Mae about her trying to kill osha, and we’re gonna get another flashback with Mae that sets the record straight with a completely different interpretation of events. This show is suffering greatly from its weekly episodic format, as it is clearly designed to be binged
