Yes, i think the subtle facial expressions (longing gaze and words like "i worry about you" and "i care") clearly show Qimir's romantic attachment to Mae, which parallels with Sol's paternal attachment to Osha. That will be both their weaknesses. As Qimir alluded to earlier, everyone has weaknesses.

Even if Qimir isn't Darth Zipperface (pretty obvious that he is). There's a reason he didn't harm Osha and Qimir tried to keep Mae focused on killing the 4 Jedi even after she doesn't want to anymore.... the master has a personal vendetta against the 4 Jedi who came to Brendok. I still think Mother Koril is pulling the strings - not necessarily a Sith herself but the coven could have sacrificed themselves to give her their combined powers (I suspect they poisoned themselves and weren't killed) giving Koril the ability to conjure up a Sith Lord to do her bidding. My guess is Zipperface is just the apprentice and the master is someone new or in a big twist, Sol.

He definitely could sense Mae’s deception & see she wasn’t gonna carry out the tasks she’s been assigned so he’s gonna clean up shop in my opinion. Our “Boy” Kelnacca was not expecting no type of fight especially with someone aggressive as a DarkSide user so I can see him offing him too 👌🏾.

I often wonder if people who claim to be "bored" are expressing their conditioning by the prequel era-style of filmmaking. Many seem to want fancifully choreographed fighting scenes, excessive lightsaber play, and a direct advancing of the plot by the characters' dialogue. Chris Stuckmann has a playlist of reviews for each Star Wars film leading up to 2015's 'The Force Awakens' wherein he discusses Lucas's inability to let the story unfold organically, often using the characters to plainly and stiffly explain facets of the plot rather than using subtle expository devices to advace the narrative. In so doing, there is less thought paid to suspense, restraint, and anticipation. Lucas assumes you need to be TOLD the facts rather than infer them for yourself. To be fair, this has long been a weakness of George Lucas dating to 'THX-1138'. Per Roger Ebert: "THX 1138 suffers somewhat from its simple storyline, but as a work of visual imagination it's special, and as haunting as parts of 2001: A Space Odyssey, Silent Running, and The Andromeda Strain." When watching "Day", I paid special attention to the dialogue to understand if the show's detractors had a point... from a certain point of view; while it may be a touch staid, I think the dialogue used in conjunction with the actors' facial expressions and the shifting scenery advances the story quite well, especially as we experience the journey from a tense day of searching to the cliffhanger as night falls. As is often said, nobody has to like anything. However, I feel that it is incumbent upon each person to know WHY they don't like something, and "it's boring" or "it's bad" isn't reason, just frustration.

Darth zipperface is the acolyte tasked with killing the four Jedi. He’s using Mae to do it so he can kill them without using a weapon. He’s obviously going to fail & that’s why Plagus gets Palpatine who is far more clever and getting other people to do things for him without knowing why.

They clearly made the helmet to where it looks like Mother Coral's horns could fit under there, I think that is a misdirection. Qimir is definitely cast to be smaller framed like the female characters, but I think Qimir is also a misdirection. There's a few odd lines in the show that do not really make sense unless one specific person is behind the mask. The master reveals that steel can not kill Jedi and that lesson repeated back about "a jedi doesn't pull her lightsaber..." would really only make sense if it were Master Indara and her death had been faked. But this is Disney, watch it end up being Torbin who'd been possessed in the flashback lol.

Mae has successfully learned her lesson and completed the task. Think about it. She was already suspicious of Qimir the entire trip. Then had a very sudden change of heart regarding her mission to kill the Wookie. She DID kill an unarmed wookie without a weapon....she manipulated Qimir, who I think is that Sith apprentice, into killing the wookie before the Jedi arrived. Her allegiance has not changed. She has completed her ask. The four Jedi from the witch incident are the candidates for the acotyle....and I believe Sol will be the true acolyte who ends up revealing what they committed against the witches and eventually lead to the growing distrust of the order. What is unclear is who is the true big bad here.

||I think Osha is the Sith. Here is my reasoning. Vernestra and the other Jedi confirm that Mae was trained by some one who was once a Jedi, Osha was once a Jedi. Qimir says he collects people, I think Osha is seeking out force sensitives to train and then mind control like her mother. There is a line in Episode 4 from a Jedi master he states maximize your defenses without need to strike. I think Osha is taking this to the extreme and manipulating other force users as puppets. I think that Qimir will be behind the helmet but I think the helmets intent is to hide his eyes not his identity. The Jedi will think the Sith are all dead because they will capture or kill Mae and Qimir and think that it is over with a big twist that Osha was the Sith all along.||

I do have 3 theories though just for fun. They are dumb: 1. His mind was erased by the Sith. Solved. 2. He is the Sith Acolyte or a Sith follower until being betrayed by Sidious nearly a century later. Makes complete sense. No plot holes there. 3. The Sith kills everyone hunting him, them, it, whatever including Mae and Osha. The Sith frames it on the Mandaloreans causing the eventual Mandalorean war. Hahaha.

Le Sniff 😟 Earlier scene we see that Kelnacca briefly looked behind as if sensed something & then keeps walking to his exile home. Even Sol didn't detect the bogey. Complaining about Ki-Adi Mundi's exact date of birth is such a plain rookie, surface-level comment by braindead non-fans looking for excuses. Live action Canon is always more valuable, followed by animation and only then books, comics and reference books. That was true for the EU and it's also true for Disney Canon. Case in point: Kanan Jarrus during Order 66. Besides, no one cares about the exact date when a character died. Before being put to books, Anakin's exact age in Eps 1 and 2 was heavily discussed.

I really wish people understood the difference between Legends and Cannon. Legends means NOTHING to the lore of Star Wars. Legends is all head cannon, and thats it. Ki can be a live since in Cannon we have no birth date. We also have no idea how long his species lives for.

Rating for this episode 10/10 it was really a good episode. Somehow I have this feeling that the Sith came 'into existence' because of the events happening to the witches 16 yrs ago. It probably really is one of the twins mothers going full darkside to get revenge. I can go with this theory but we'll see down the line. 😅

I dont know how I ended up getting this recommended to me, but I can't help but think this is paid for. I can't even start to understand how people applaud choices like introducing a character that isn't even born until 40 years later than the show is depicted (the show takes place around 130 BBY and he was born around 90 BBY) as an epic thing. I understand liking some things but i don't understand the general attitude towards lore breaking things from someone whose channel name is expressing love for star wars. How can you disregard so blatantly writing that shows the writers have no clue about Star wars?

It's one thing to care about the new canon retconning things, but using obscure Legends media for your facts is pointless. Mundi's age was only ever mentioned in a CD ROM guide about episode 1, which is obviously no longer canon. It was very likely a fact made up on the spot by a random lucasfilm employee to flesh out their guide.

I do like to cliff hanger. Awesome scene at the end. However, Ki Adi Mundo must have forgotten about this Sith acolyte when he told the Jedi in The Phantom Menace that "The Sith have been extinct for a millennium." Perhaps his mind was erased by the acolyte? He's a Sith follower who knew all along and was betrayed by Sidious in Episode 3. All of the Jedi including Mae, Osha and that rat looking thing were killed by the Sith who made it look like Mandaloreans, Witches, or Huts did it. Or, it's just bad writing....

Episode 4 was good. I, personally, think the Sith Master is...Vernastra Rwoh on account of the fact that their heads are exactly the same shape. I may, however, be very wrong and I will fall upon my Lightsaber accordingly.

Much better episode. Creepy sith descending from the tree scene, the script needs better wording or the actors need to be more authentic, but I would give it a 9/10 for engaging plot but 7/10 overall 😇

27 minutes of some of the worst dialogue I’ve ever heard in Star Wars. Boring unneeded episode made just to set up the 30 second cliffhanger at the end. Boo. Hopefully the next 4 episodes somehow redeem the show, but I’m not holding my force for it.

Another chapter full of contradictions, Osha becoming bestie with Sols padawan from nothing?, Mae dropping a life time mission in a few seconds while thinking how to kill a Jedi without a weapon xD...the tracker and tool droid scene not funny..to track someone who left like 10 years ago, they have piece of cloth with the smell???????..The Acolyte showed in front of everyone like a reliable guy who is not reliable and clumsy? xD like in Naruto they introduced Obito? wtf hahahaha....The Acolyte being more interested than Mae on killing those 4 Jedi? xD nooooo bad writing!
