He's never respected the works of fellow creatives unless they share his beliefs/politics, and one could argue not even that at times. And he never really cared about George Lucas' vision. Heck, he doesn't even respect his own vision given how many times he contradicts elements in it as time goes by, but then I did mention his issues with continuity. I know I've long given up trying to make excuses for it. In the end Lucas chose poorly and it's a shame Tartakovsky didn't want the top job when he had the opportunity. Filoni was never Lucas' first pick for a successor.

It's funny how Disney was initially so adamant to avoid the Prequels or any mention of it (let the past die) to solely focus just on the OT but now that they've burnt all bridges with the future (thanks in not small part to their own sequels) they're suddenly all about the Prequels. This show genuinely felt like Headland just saw what people loved about the OT/prequels and said “oh I can do better” without taking the time to actually understand WHY people liked the OT/prequels so much, she just wanted to have what she’s done with the Acolyte permanently stitched on to what George and Filoni have crafted. There’s zero chemistry between any characters in the show. Peoples allegiance and motivations are changing every other episode for no logical reason. Characters make decisions that also don’t make any logical sense, why did the Wookiee Jedi exile himself? Because he was briefly taken over by a cult of evil space witches? Seriously? Being taken over for less than 5 minutes was enough to make them exile themselves into the alien forest? What about the Jedi who took that weird cyanide capsule (or whatever it was) why did he feel so guilty over what happened? They never showed us the impact of the situation on the characters, they just all act like it’s this thing that cannot be spoken about for some reason. What about the Space Witch who says it was a “mistake” for the Jedi to have come back for the children? She literally turns into a weird smoke demon and yet somehow gets stabbed by a lightsaber? And then she claims she was going to let Osha go with Sol? So why on earth did she do that whole smoke monster thing? This series honestly just made my brain hurt

I’m genuinely disgusted with Headland, for using her wife Vernesstra for the cover up. The acting for it at the end was decent, but the idea itself ruins the the prequels and almost all of 1-6. It’s insane how palpatine was able to infiltrate the republic/senate/jedi, cause it had never been done before. He was able to do it cause the jedi were clueless of such a powerful threat being around for thousands of years. This show now states that, these same jedi eventually find out about vernestra (since she’s not alive in prequels), which means what 80-100 yrs before phantom menace, there’s a massive internal Jedi cover up involving old padawans turning to the dark side😂😂😂😂😂😂 They’ve given Headland the ability to re-write, everything. Why do they have to touch George’s shit. This is insane. I’m just so upset right now.

Before I watch this video I looked at comments on other videos. Some people are going crazy over want a season 2 because of appearance of Yoda and Plaqious. I don’t see why this deserves another season. Bad acting, set designs sucks, and the main reason is the writing sucks. If Disney does another season I would recommend get rid of the whole team and use the team that did Andor.
