The Acolyte Premiere - Review & Recap

Disney+ latest Star Wars tv show - The Acolyte - premiered tonight. This latest opus was created by Leslye Headland who... well... you know who she is.
The audience was actually "treated" with TWO episodes... coming in at just over an hour. Yup, each one is just over 30 minutes. And that sounds like how it's gonna be for all 8 episodes. So this is my raw first impression/recap of the show based on some very scribbly notes.
And, honestly, I cannot recommend this highly enough... if you are suffering from insomnia.

I will refuse to watch a show that was created by a person who was a personal assistant of a criminal.

The "message" is gonna start slowly with this series and really kick in later by all reports. Stressing losing her "mothers" instead of parents was enough to know where this is going long term.
