THE ACOLYTE EPISODE 3 REVIEW - WHAT IS GOING ON?

Disney+ latest Star Wars opus is The Acolyte - a show created by Leslye Headland who... well... you know who she is.
The third episode - Destiny - came out this week. And it featured a flashback to the earlier lives of our main characters - Osha and Mae. Twins who appear to be the opposite sides of the same coin - at least that's what we've seen so far.
And this is touted as the lore breaking episode, according to some sources who had seen the four first episodes. Do I agree with that? The answer may be surprising.
Still, I cannot recommend this show highly enough... if you are suffering from insomnia

3:15 "It's very clear May wants to use her powers more" - well, it was clear one of them wanted to use her powers more... seriously, would it kill them to give the girls SOME visual identifiers? I get it, they're twins, and "they're supposed to be identical, but actually they're not" was the main theme, but for a viewer it was hella confusing! They could've at least hold the ceremony at the very start so that May would get her tatoo and we could distinct her this way.

When it comes to Star Wars, I am a normies so ep 3 is still bad writing and acting can't say it breaks lore but it definitely stretching it.

I found this episode to be mostly boring. Everything that was supposed to be controversial I already expected. I'm just numb to Disney Stat Wars now. I can't even muster the energy to get angry. I just don't care.
