Anyone who would hear that voice would cringe compared to this much more refined voice and yet the delivery of Frank Oz was so magical, so profound but the delivery here feels so bland, so egotistical and lacks any substance. This whole ritual perfectly encompasses everything wrong with the show, it’s cringe, lacks originality, doesn’t offer anything deep or thought provoking and contradicts the classic star wars trope of Good vs Evil. Why are modern writers so addicted to the idea of moral grey?? Are they trying to normalize evil by claiming it doesn’t exist?

Anakin’s birth was actually a freak accident. Plagueis and Palpatine were originally using the Dark side to attempt to create a weapon to destroy the Jedi. This is worse direction, than the Yakety Sax chase, between child Leia and Flea’s gang. Both shows were given to people, who just weren’t qualified to show run and direct an entire Star Wars show. The direction of dialogue, feels like a bad first timer.

I just don’t understand how these people who are in charge of the Star Wars IP have no desire to continue the rules and continuity of established lore. You could still tell all of these female centric stories within the established lore. Why transform it into nonsensical trash???

In Shatterpoint(which should hopefully still be canon) Mace Windu goes to Haruun Kal and runs into this tribal chief that literally taps into the dark side and draws power from the actual jungle they are in. He only went there because he was told his student fell to the Dark side and was there. There are definitely plenty of non-Jedi force users that are left alone unless they do something bad. Btw that is one of the best Star Wars books ive ever read, if you want something to cleanse your palette of this filth please read that book.

The thing no one seems to understand about these characters is that the filmmakers view horrible characteristics as positive traits, while the rest of the planet sees them as the grotesqueries they are. And then are confused by how we're supposed to sympathize with clearly evil people.
