Explosions CAN happen in space. They DO happen in space in real life. Satellites and rockets carry fuels and oxidizers, where the later literally exists to facilitate the oxygen. So explosions being in Lucas' work is perfectly fine. It's CONTINUOUS FIRE that can't happen. The vacuum of space would instantly put it out, kind of like an EXPLOSION. When Disney has to emphasize the sexual orientation of the director, Leslye Headland, as well as a number of actors in 'The Acolyte', that already means the series is awful and doesn't have a chance. Think of any great movie, movie franchise, or TV series you loved growing up: Did you ever desperately need to know the sexual orientations of their directors, producers, actors, etc? OF COURSE NOT and that's the point. Disney relies on woke pro-LGBTQEIEIO4KTVBYOB headlines to sell this dumpster fire of a TV series (a dumpster fire that stays ignited in the vacuum of space, apparently since neither Leslye Headland, Kathleen Kennedy, nor Disney executives understand basic physics). ;)

I like to read superhero comics and I have no problem with gay characters. What's annoying is that any comic starring a gay character becomes a gay romance comic about someone who occasionally does some superheroics instead of a superhero comic about a gay person. Superman's marriage to Lois Lane adds bits to the story. It's not _the_ story. I don't know why it can't be that way for gay, lesbian and bi characters too. Similarly it's ridiculous how every story featuring a black character *has* to forefront their race and racism nowadays. How about just punching some bad guys instead?
@ArchSchizo5 ай бұрын
@@BiggieTrismegistus If they insisted on telling stories about these "label" characters, they would be wise to not do it every time, as the main plot, with annoying protagonists who resemble stereotypes more than people. How many inner city youths without parents do we NEED to tell stories about? Add a twist or something. Better yet, use trauma as a seasoning, not the whole damn dish. Make a fun or heroic character that HINTS towards personal issues. Later in the series (because everything is a series but never uses the medium's strengths) have the protagonist address these issues when the audience is already engaged and rooting for them. Why must writers keep INTRODUCING characters with angst, trauma, and natural combat skills, but nothing else?

Because trying to fight a space wizard with a weapon that will cut anything and one shot you you don't want any part of that no matter how skilled of a fighter you are. Most people are hired guns because the vast majority of the galaxy is full of people who can't handle blaster fire...unless you're a Jedi. And hand to hand assassins would be beat by virtue of the Jedi just waving the danger stick in front of them. May realistically stood no chance

Why we dont know but the sith lords use tô make their appprentice tô wierd challenges tô prove their power so maybe is something around that. Is lore wise consistent, Vader was without lightsabe after mustafar because Obiwan take it só Sidius make him Goes after a jedi master kill it and bleed his kybercrystal só he can make it a new one. The most pratical thing was to just get him a new crystal and call it a day or even bleed the temporary green onde Vader get tô fight this jedi, but maybe the saber get stronger or more attuned tô the dark side if the sith bleed the crystal of the jedi he personally kill. My theory is that Mae has tô kill the 3 jedi without saber tô prove and grow her dark power and in the end bleed Master Sol one because he is the one she have stronger attachment/feelling towards tô.

Explosions in space are not a synonym for fire in space.
@osets21175 ай бұрын
The only way a fire can continue to burn in space is if it has a continuous fuel source. Pretty sure that's not what's going on in that episode
@MarvinPowell15 ай бұрын
Explosions and sound effects in space are non-diegetic effects. Basically, for the audience's benefit, but not meant to be accurate in-universe. Having a literal fire, in-universe, burning in the empty vacuum of space, presented with sound as a pure diegetic effect, is implying in the Star Wars universe, that oxygen exists in space. Which also implies space helmets and space suits are redundant. Never has there ever been anything in Star Wars to suggest the vacuum of space literally isn't space. This is why the woke's stupid arguments do not work. Even fictional universes have rules and laws of physics they must obey, and you can't just break those laws just because "it's fiction" without it being properly established. This would be like Obi Wan just going Super Saiyan out of the blue with glowing gold hair and dismissing any criticism of it by saying "Who cares, it's fiction." I mean, I'm pretty sure even children nowadays know you can't have fire burn in space. Anyone trying to defend this show should immediately dismissed as the most shilly of all shills.

It also makes sense for ships to explode in space since there’s oxygen in them and they’re pressurized too, and notice how one the explosion happens it disappears 💀

Reminds me of Finn in the sequel trilogy. They came up with an interesting premise, then immediately abandoned any mystery with it after the beginning. Story potential? Nahhh. Yes there are numerous things done in the original star wars that don't follow basic physics, such as sound in space. They were all done to increase the cinematic experience. Spaceships also don't need to "bank" to turn around. An X-Wing can quite literally rotate and fire at anyone behind them. Again this was to engage the dog fighter fights of ww2 and it's also what the average movie consumer of the 1970's would expect. A camp fire in space, or a "bomber" that literally has to fly "over" its target in space to drop bombs isn't cool. It's dumb. It adds nothing to the enjoyment of the medium. It just shows incompetence on the part of the creator.
