She seems really strong, and she's been nothing but consistent. I think she's a contender for a medal this year. In the 200, she's run a WL, and in the 100, she's run times that are competitive with Ta-Lou, Richardson, and Jackson. She could medal at world's this year, and she probably has room for improvement next year. I imagine that Jackson will up her game in the 200, but there's a lot of parity in the 100 this season without Fraser-Pryce dominating. College stars often fade at worlds, and veterans sometimes show up out of no where and run brilliantly, but Alfred is still looking really good.

3:30; Yeah noticed since indoors that Julien leans a little too early at the finish line which according to Coach Flo is cos they've been holding back on working on certain things (which will now be addressed) to keep her as fresh as possible for the WC in about 8wks time. She needs to rest & recover the rest of June, then run 2-3 DL Races in July in preparation for the WC in mid-August. Coach Flo also mentioned that she no longer plans to run the 200m @Major Champs cos of how much she hates it which I don't get cos you'd think running a bunch of 4x4s this year would've made it clear how much less of a pain the 200m is in comparison, plus she's passing up the chance of winning extra medals at future Global Champs since relay medals are going to be out of her reach with being from such a small island nation.

Natural speed, hard work in the gym, and going all-out on the tracks. That's the recipe for greatness once the results are record-breaking wins meet after meet. Great analysis.
