He's so right about Legend of The Galactic Heroes. It took me MONTHS to finish watching it cuz old art style, sloppy animation, slow burn etc etc (which are all understandable issues) but seriously once I did finish it I simply COULDN'T compare any other anime to it. Most people would drop it after a few episodes or the prequel movies but trust me if you are patient enough and finish the whole show YOU WILL FEEL REWARDED. It's soooooo good I can't explain in words how amazing it is. Every other anime now pales in comparison to me.

A lot of people have Fullmetal death punch titan as their favourite anime and I'm guilty of this. FMAB was the first anime I really liked and it was just a different experience for me at the time. I was completely new to anime and eager to explore and experience this supposedly new medium. The characters, the soundtracks and plot were just the most perfect thing I had seen. Even if it's not objectively a masterpiece, for me it'll be number 1 forever.

Love this guys sarcasm... Most of my collection is pre digital (2000). Id recommend (some already mentioned) Berserk, Cowboy Bebop, Ninja Scroll, Akira, Baccano, FMA Brotherhood, Ghost in The Shell SAC, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, Macross Plus, Megazone 23, Tiger & Bunny & if u can handle 75 episodes - Monster (it’s a long one so I had a break in between but it’s well worth it). These are a mix of pre and post digital era.
