Nick's entire goal was to transition from c**town where he made 50% of the money and did 75% of the work, to keeping 50% of the money but renaming it the Adam Friedland Show and only doing 10% of the behind the scenes while making adam feel like the star. That was the cruel joke of becoming TAFS. Nick still gets paid but he is consistently in other parts of the country getting paid for standup while adam keeps printing the patreon money for him.

Never joined in on that stuff as 99% of it was clearly shtick or Nick being the dbag Nick can be but Adam does have a few things that are both real and annoying af. This episode has a lot of those things. When he's bad he REALLY sucks, mostly when he does that BS, timid, baby voice act. I want to see him get hurt when he does that, lol. Pain. I'm not even a big Gillis fan but he's the only dude that isn't Nick to call him out in real-time and not in a funny way. Like a genuine, disgusted "what tf are you doing". That and in the early episodes of CT he is so clearly putting on a fake West coast vocal fry that is infuriating to go back and listen to. Sounds like a sassy woman.
