@@F_Tim1961TY ... and Meggs may have been aware of more than others will EVER realize ... and what was needed to protect so many other innocent lives. (Or, perhaps checking to see if connections existed between other still unsolved cases; or crimes ... per JL's police statements their may have been other trips to Tallahassee prior to 2014.) And, while Meggs may not have known Dan Markell personally ... he was friends with or acquainted with other lawyers and judges locally. Who's family or loved ones and friends were experiencing similar situations ... as what happened to Dan; prior to Dan's death. Some of these attorneys living as close to Winthrop Park as Dan did. There was much to figure out. Much to do. And, as we can observe now ... a huge safety issue. Regardless of what was what. Be that similar crimes or disconnected/random. Unrelated? A strategy needed ... timing ... and ONE SHOT. Sad ... Meggs had to spell it out so clearly. Georgia understands completely & has accepted the TASK. 🎉 Did the Adelsons know? Or, cause? exactly! if katie got one hung jury before her conviction when they thought there was no denying the evidence, absolutely they need to be more strategic in the others. they have decades of getting over on their illegal activity consequences and responsibilities to justice. their little paid off connections are simply waiting for that one 'flaw' to try for an appeal or juror that isn't focused on the loss of life via their hatred. they have convinced a circle of people that 4 good acts must mean you can get 'rid' of anyone that seems to be a problem.

Even if it's true about the Ponzi scheme (and I would take what she says with 1/10th of a grain of salt), in the years since then, they could have easily amassed a fortune. But they threw it all away on something far more foolish than a Ponzi scheme. It breaks my heart every time I think of Dan and his adoration for his kids and how he was robbed of it all.

Carl, warm greeting from a german descenant now migrant in Australia. My ancestors were from Croatia/Hungary/Austria area and now I came back to stay here a bit. Hence, I cannot catch live most of the time, as in Europe, that is 2am

Carl Steinbeck, I thought you were also a psychiatrist or psychologist sometimes listening to your podcasts and perceptive comments about people in this bewildering cast of characters. Thank you for your persistance and hard work to help achieve justice and freedom for the family and children of the Markels.

Its very possible the detective who interviewed her was warned not to treat her as a suspect - her connections, you realize.
@michaeljaffee-eo6mr6 ай бұрын
@anitaholst7671 I think just the opposite. They didn’t treat Wendi as a suspect at her police interview only hurt Wendi bc she felt comfortable. Otherwise she could have invoked the 5th amendment.

Carl in opening of this vid is giving Dr. Evil in the most ironic way and I love it. Wendi, hope you’re well! Lol

I heard the wiretaps with Charlie and his own mom Donna talking about how he pretends to be a Doctor with a speeding ticket and Donna was so proud of him. Disgusting

I think the day inmate Charlie Adelson was convicted and sentenced to life in prison; was the day the streets became a safer, more sane place for all!

I agree with you 100% regarding the evil perpetrated on the boys and the Markels by Wendi and her family. The boys need to have lots of contact with the Markels...NOW, not months or years from now.

Carl you are such a gift to the Justice for the Markels community. I try to never miss a live show and I replay each one a couple of times because you have so much valuable information and legal insight to share. Thank you for donating your time and energy, and I hope you always know how well appreciated, and highly recommended you are. Also, pets and chin scratches to Leo and little LJ, who I hope has recovered from her tummy troubles.💕

Good morning Carl&Crew. I cant watch live but I do have a ❓❓❓. There is rumor that Sigfredo now wants a deal and has asked prosecution (via a lawyer) to offer him a reduction in return for testimony. Do you think that he still has a chance at negotiating a deal❓Or is there enough evidence against Donna, Harvey and Wendi from the prosecutions pov❓Other than that, it was interesting to know more about the connection between the Adelson's and Weinstein's. Thank you for that.
@carlsteinbeck6 ай бұрын
I'm doubting he can cut a deal. Rather likely is he spills his guts, testified, and state may or may not ask for a minor reduced sentence
@charliebarrow70866 ай бұрын
@@carlsteinbeck Ah, okay, that won't necessarily be an incentive for him to talk then, I suppose. Anyway, thank you for the answer, and see you next time.

@anitaholst7671 Donna’s conviction is a slam dunk. I’m not sure what Sigfredo knows about the adelsons. If he does have info it would be interesting. I believe Wendi’s conviction is 97%. There is so much evidence. Sigfredo is not getting a reduction in his sentence. He murdered someone in cold blood for $$$. That’s the worst alibi to kill somebody.
