I am so happy that you started this whole "advance selfie" thing in the first place, it gave so much confidence to me to take pictures of myself, before even I considered this whole selfie thing "cliche", you really helped to break this stereotype!

I hated the original selfie idea too, so maybe it helped that I came in from a non-loving angle of it and just purely as a photographer. I feel a little like I broke my own stereotype of the selfie. haha

Oh Sorelle, every video of you is a blessing. You are such a lovely person! Being in front of a camera can be so therapeutic. Last month I filmed a lookbook and I was crying while watching the material, because I found out I wasn't as "fat" as I thought. Looking at yourself in a more objective way through the lense can be so helpful, if you do it right. I will buy your class right now!

Don't be embarrassed at all, Sorelle! I greatly appreciate and enjoy your content. The advanced selfie is awesome and I'd say you were the first person to coin that term and make the concept of it popular. Sure, everyone can take a posed photo of themself, but you actually made it a thing and gave it a name. Anybody who gives you eye-rolls can simply fuck right off. Again I truly appreciate your content Sorelle and thank you for teaching us all the MAGIC of the advanced selfie! Sending love from California.

Even before the term advanced selfie was a thing and before I discovered the legacy that Sorelle is, self-timer sort of photos have been my spirit animal and how I achieve the best photos of myself. There's just this thin layer of awkwardness that comes across when someone else takes a photos of me vs. me setting up everything the way I picture it in my head. Thanks for all your work, I love your videos ! Such an inspiration !

I actually fucking love this, so damn much. So many people are self conscious and worried about what other people will say or think. But you are embracing your creative and artistic beauty and art form, and you’re using it in such an artistic way!!! And the whole not having a good social media presence, and not having enough money for plastic surgery, etc. it’s amazing to see you embracing your OWN vision. As a photographer, it’s easy to see a vision that you’re trying to obtain within other models, but you know exactly what you want out of the project within your own head, so to use yourself as a subject is so beneficial because you know EXACTLY what it is that you are trying to obtain. That is the beauty of art and creativity. If you aren’t happy with the results, you know in your own head the vision you’re trying to achieve. You are fully present and demanding in this entire journey, and it also is helping you to love yourself! I cannot tell you how amazing I think this is. You are literally your own brand, you don’t need to hire anyone, you see yourself in such a beautiful light, and to me, that is fucking AMZING! You are NOT teaching the wrong thing in anyway. You are teaching self love, and self vision. I support these projects to the highest🙏🏼

I'll be honest, I don't watch many model/beauty/makeup/fashion people on YT because most of them seem pretty superficial to me. Not judging them, I just don't want that kind of energy in my life. From the moment I first stumbled across your channel and Instagram account your whole vibe felt completely different to that. I have never once felt like you were more interested in how you appear than in the value you are providing your audience. Your presence on camera is so precious and I watch all of your videos even if the topic doesn't interest me, just to see your beautiful loving face light up as you talk about this life you've created for yourself. Don't let anyone else's opinions of what you do stop you from doing it. Not everyone will see the value in it and that's perfectly fine, they are on a different leg of their journey. xxxx

Yeeess! The Advanced Selfie is in my opinion a tool for learning how to love yourself. Sometimes I need to use this tool and sometimes another tool work as well. For example creating art or Yoga and Meditation. But I do not understand those people who dont try to understand the reasons of other persons. I mean everyone needs something different to be happy. And I think you need to love your physical body and than you can learn how to love other persons and your environment. Man this is such an interesting topic! And also you can do and become EVERYTHING you want to be. You wanted to feel and look feminine and now look at you! And I believe that everyone can do exactly what they want. So when you have an idea and you know exactly how your life have to look like you can create exactly the life you want. But you need to walk this path to Selflove on your own. Nobody can fill anykind of gap that you created by yourself. So when you dont love your body or yourself it is logical that a talk with a friend doesnt help. But it is logical that when try to figure yourself out maybe with the Advanced Selfie that you can create your dream version of yourself. Am I right? And I dont understand those persons whho just dont think about themselfs. They just swim with the tide and when other people create theire dreamlife they are rolling their eyes. Actually this is really sad... oh I dont know why I wrote so much. I`m sorry...
