Just watching someone living their best lives and accomplishing their deepest goals, just gives me motivation to do so. Taking social risks now is amazing even after the COVID-19 pandemic. I think that we all have to get out of our comfort zone, and take that social risk to meet new people in order to find our true selves. The past years I've been hiding from people and being this character that some of my friends don't recognize. The important lesson I learned the past 2 years is that you don't have to be someone you're not in order to make friends or to make people like you. The sum of the day is, be yourself and love yourself before you love someone else ! Thank you Simon! And Stay wholesome !

idk if this is weird but sometimes it makes me sad that there are people making friends with literal strangers while I'm here at home having exactly one friend. don't get me wrong, you're videos are amazing and calming and I love them so much but they also make me kinda jealous (?) I guess. (sorry for bad english btw it isn't my first language :))
@justjacques42822 жыл бұрын
you can make friend with strangers! but sometimes the situation makes a huge impact and some people gotta like try a little more than others to get out of their comfort zone but that's totally okay! i'm sure that, eventually, you'll make amazing friends
@phoebetang3884 Жыл бұрын
hey, it's over-said to the point of cliche but i think quality of friendships matter too! as i grow older (i'm 21 now), i'm increasingly aware of the value of quality over quantity. as adults, we lose the familiarity and reliability of a fixed schedule and structure high school provided for us. we are thrown headfirst into the adult world where we are suddenly supposed to carve our own individual unique paths on our own. it's scary, to figure it out on your own. but it's even scarier to BELIEVE you hAVE to do life on your own now. because you don't! not saying it's easy. because it may be harder for some. but i believe friendships, at the end of the day, is about intentionality: to make friends AND maintain them. and if talking to multiple different strangers sound daunting to you, you don't have to do that! start from deepening the friendship you already have, or reconnecting with old friends! hope you're doing well! :)

Hey! Found your channel 4 days ago and think that all of your videos somehow hits all of my spots, when it comes to social anxiety, future… Recently I found myself to feel lost, don’t know what to expect and do with my future. As a 11th grader, my parents expected me to choose a job and work hard for it but the problem is I don’t know what to strive for and where to start. I feel like I’m an easily influenced person sometimes I watch a video of a pilot and wanting to get that job but the next day ended up wanting to be an artist. I tried to take slower steps yet feels like things aren’t gonna become better, seeing my friends knowing what they want and having a clear road makes me even more sad. Anyways I just want to share these feelings through this long comment, and hoping that it could help me in someway! Glad that I could find your channel as a place to forget about the tough reality!

I came here from the voice memos, I've been seeing your videos for a while on tiktok and just thought I should check if you have a podcast and so glad to find out that you do. I think I'm on episode 13 or 14 now, but looking at the rest of the episodes, I saw an 8-month gap between two episodes--no idea yet why but I'll keep listening. Thank you for letting me experience this trip to Hawaii for 26 minutes. I am loving the positive affirmations on the voice memos. Keep doing what you do, I'm sure people tell you this all the time but, you're making such a great impact to a lot of people. Thank you.

Damn I really came here knowing I things were going to be wholesome but my GAWDDD did this really bring me to tears 🥺💙. I gotta say Simon, you’re really just one of the best things that’s every happened to people. The way you carry yourself with honesty and vulnerability to the world at hand, is truly breathtaking. After watching this video, I feel like I traveled to Hawaii with you and met all of these beautiful strangers. The raw emotions and genuine interactions you had was just so peaceful. Idk man, this video just really hit different in so many ways and I’m just grateful. In a way, I feel honored to have gotten to see who you are, the person you’re becoming, and wisdom that you share to others. It’s truly a blessing to see how far you’ve come on your journey! I hope that you continue doing what’s best for you in every way possible. Be in the moment and savor what’s present because the future will always be there to follow. :) As always and with much love, Keep it wholesome 😌💙🤞🏽

I relate so much to what you said about appreciating a moment. What I tell myself when I feel like this is that the fact that a moment can’t be relived makes it all the more special. That’s what memories are and that’s why we miss them. Because when you are living in the moment that moment can’t be relived and that’s the beautiful part. Great video
