The production quality of this video is commendable. You've masterfully depicted the essence of beautiful friendships and a subtly luxurious European journey, intermittently accompanied by original poetry. Throughout your travels, you've continually drawn inspiration for the narration, making the video impeccable. Through your travels, you project a life that's victorious, optimistic, and full of zest. Notably, many of your videos have fundraising campaigns aimed at assisting impoverished nations by building schools and providing proper education. Unfortunately, there's also an underlying tone of excess and materialism, with a veneer of happiness projected through your luxurious travels with close friends across Europe. To me, this feels like a facade. The off-camera reality of bar visits, marijuana, fentanyl use, and questionable choices after reaping the channel's financial rewards paints a different picture. Remember, Simon, no matter how much you assimilate, you're still Asian, and you remain vulnerable to certain prejudices in the U.S. Your content, while polished, may mislead naive fans into equating happiness with such a lifestyle. Every action has its consequences; moderation is key.

Going through a gut-wrenching breakup with someone who I had been close friends with for 5 years and in the most loving healthy relationship for 4 years. She absolutely blindsided me at the beginning of June and broke it off throwing away 9 years of connection as if it was nothing. Your videos have helped me a ton, with the video "falling in love with life." spurring me on to solo travel to Japan which gave me a newfound sense of confidence. Life isn't happening to us, it's happening for us - just have to keep holding onto the hope that things ended to introduce something better

I was distracted hearing the intro, so when the part about the breakup came, it hit me really hard and suddenly, which was really powerful for me. Wanting to make things work, believing it will - it struck a chord and i cried... hearing the poems, first wallowing in the sorrow and being angry in the world, to acceptance and hope. i sobbed man. good job. thank you

That was gorgeous. Absolutely, undoubtedly, gorgeous. I cannot say how much I genuinely needed this. I was literally ranting to myself about someone who was once my world, who then simply walked away with no word -and then I got a notification for your video as I was in the middle of that heart broken ranting to myself. I truly connected with everything you were saying and expressing, and I feel for you deeply. When you said “I think it’s… hard to see someone you love so much slowly just, fade. And there’s that same… love for you. It just hurts when there’s so much you wanna give.” That described, word for word perfectly, how I’ve been feeling for years. It genuinely hurts so indescribably much to see someone who you love so deeply slowly fade, and there’s nothing you can do about it. Especially when, like you said, you just had such a strong level of confidence in the relationship and being able to make things work. I had that once too. I’m still in the process of healing and occasionally going through stages of intense grief, but one thing I’ve learnt is that, despite everything, we can’t force people to stay in our lives, regardless of how much we want them to. At the end of the day someone has to choose to be in, and stay in, your life. All we can do when they decide to leave is give ourselves the time to grieve, however long that may take, keep the good memories with us, and move forward in life. Take all the time you need to heal. It comes in waves sometimes. Progress isn’t linear. Sometimes you heal for a while, get hit with the grief again, feel it, then heal again. And I’ve realized that it’s important to give yourself the space to do that and have those ups and downs. You are truly an inspiration, Simon. You and your friends have so deeply inspired me to do what I’ve always been encouraged to do, which is go out and experience the craziness and excitement of life and the unknown, doing fun and wild things all over the world. You are some amazing human beings, and I look forward to hopefully having the pleasure of meeting you one day. Keep at it man. Life, I mean. Because god damn it, you’re doing incredible 🧡💙✨

Forever “A whisper of a cottage in the woods two dogs maybe a cat, no kids, farmers market on the weekends, forever felt light” such a beautiful thing, the way a single sentence can reach random people across the world, images that are literally nothing but words on a screen yet even without really listening it can make a person tear up. The idea that we are all people with similar wants and dreams, though I haven’t gone through a breakup these images on the screen bring me aches and tears. Through a screen I can feel the pain coming from your chest through my own. With just images on a screen beauty is shared and connections made
