Comix Zone is less of a beat 'me up and more of an adventure game. Choosing different pathway, item management, and disabling traps. It's also good if the FREAKING EMULATOR WORKS!

Ah, the Gunstar Heros of Batman games. Absolute gem. I had Comix Zone back in the day but recently went ham on it via my Switch, the god like Sega Genesis Collection and a masterfully made Hori Split Pad Pro. That D-Pad was made by those that have a passion for video games. Plus the full button auto fire select is genius. Sorry, ranting.

Makes me wish we get a Batman the Animated Series game compilation; with he Genesis, SNES, gameboy, game gear and Sega CD version. Would rock to add the Batman Returns games; but then it would not be strictly matching of the compliation theme.

That ROM of Comix Zone looked and sounded rough as hell lol That game is hard as shit, but it's one of my favorites of all time. Never did beat that Batman game, furthest I ever got was Mad Hatter's boss fight. That game has one of my favorite soundtracks on the Genesis.

holy shit comix zone runs badly on that emulator. music is playing too fast and then has crazy slowdown. That needs to be played on a better emulator.

They are literally playing in real hardware. Just using an everdrive.

@@chrissiqueira6966 early everdrives cached the game in a way that was basically running an emulator. (the cart being the emulator if you will), resulting in issues. The performance issues the early everdrives had is the main reason why later versions are so highly praised.
