I wished I had family like the Nelson that told their stories of holidays where they truly enjoyed each other. We didn't have celebrations of holidays nor birthdays. never enough money but on rare occasions we did have Christmas but not every year. So it was a pleasant experience when we got a gift for Christmas. My parents were not ambitious to work to earn more money to provide the best of holidays. I certainly made sure to have them once I married and have my children - I truly enjoyed my family and loved to watch how they unwrapped their gifts.

Ozzie didn't smoke or drink but he died in june 1975 of liver cancer. Age 69. RIP ozzie.
