The Zim side was well developed during your time with many lodges during your time. I have been to both sides of the falls & l can say that both sides have some unique features of the falls. The Zim side has more water especially in Summer. The Zambian side has the knife edge bridge which gives the tourist a pinnacle experience of seeing the falls much closer. Zambia has also caught up with some beautiful hotels & lodges

Yet our govts waste money on so many unnecessary things but don't want to pay for his services. We keep asking why the CNNs wouldn't show Africa this way. The question is: why not build our own? Here's a single individual doing so much. Imagine what we stand to gain if our govts invested in him and he built a media empire.

The west medias are doing it lik that because they dont want ppl to see d good in africa....because they want the world to continue hating africa and seeing them as backward ppl cos the west knows that if they allow d true side of africa to be seeen by d world they themselves(the west)would not be relevant again to the world's eyes compared to africa. That is why they keep pushing only negativity about africa on their media in order to continue keeping themselves(the west)as a superior race & also relevant to d world.

The Garden Eden, means pleasure (diamond, gold, healthy water, healthy food, and all good things that we can find…). God created it for the first time and putted inside the first humans called Adam and Ava. That is found in Africa. Africa is an Eden, and Africans are the first people that God created in this world. So, we need to stand together, and construct Maman Africa. As African and African diaspora, we need to go back to our mother land. Unity is power. Power to us. ✊🏾❤️

Thank you Wodemaya and your team for this Great video while visiting the Falls of MOSI-OA-TUNYA in Zimbabwe. The falls and the nature around it just AMAZING. I believe that all colonizers' name and statues need to be taking down and replaced by the names and statues of our African heroes who fought the colonizers and gave their life for their country. How long are we going to inflict mental slavery on ourselves??? Let FREE our mindset and Embrace our Great African heritage. God bless you abundantly Wodemaya. Beautiful Zimbabwe. God bless Zimbabwe, God Bless Africa. GOD IS GOD.

Wode maya, most people don't know that the British were so struck with the majestic beauty north of vale that Cecil rhodes packed up the pioneer column and hastily left south africa, to establish a British protectorate called Rhodesia, make no mistake they made zimbabwe/ Salisbury the capital and the center . The beautiful lands and fona host a dervish wildlife and better under those beautiful lands are hidden diamonds , gold , platinum, chrome and many such minerals hence it did not escape the British to make zimbabwe a protectorate of the empire

There's one thing I observed from most countries often talked about negatively by others is that these countries possess hidden gems that are unique and astonishing. Zimbabwe and Africa by the media is opposite to what we are seeing from this video. Wode Maya, thanks so much for showing the hidden gem in Africa for the world to see. I love Zimbabweans so much. God bless you so much Wode Maya for opening the eyes of many Africans towards appreciating and cherishing what we have. You are doing a great job. Bravo!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👍🏽👍🏽❤

Its joint custodians who own a bigger chunk of it, the Zambians would be silly to agree such a name. The falls already have a most appropriate indigenous name given to it by its locals that predates Zimbabwe i.e. Mosi-oa-Tunya that's what it should be known as.

I thought for a moment that Wode Maya got so excited that he lost control and got carried away. We like it that he has made it his crusade to promote and show case the continent. But we are against his proposal to change the name of "victoria falls" or any other historical landmarks as a backlash to anything Western-European. Victoria falls is part of Zimbabwe (Rhodesia) history, regardless of the good and bad. What you say and how you say it matters. Because if you follow this logic you may end up with no countries at all but independent tribal lands opposed to each others. And no use of the English language to communicate between Africans in Africa and between Africans and the outside world. You would stop the use of an airplane , cars, trains because they are made in Western Europe. How about landmarks in the Americas, the western Europe and Asia bearing the names of Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela , Patrice Lumumba ? It is high time to accept the fact that modern Africa is actually an extension of western Europe. With centuries of shared history, even if we overlook this fact and don't talk about it often because of racial politics from all sides. A vision of 18th century western European political leaders, here to stay for ever. No need to engage in counter productive culture wars that you cant control and cant win. Not necessary. Not a priority. Ordinary Africans want good paying jobs, responsible political leaders, good health care, freedom to travel any where within the continent cheaply , comfortably without harassment. Leave victoria falls alone.

One of the best things that Robert Mugabe did was to change all the roads and towns to local ones, its a shame that Zambia and Malawi and many other African cities are still named after colonisers Livingstone, Blantyre...long live Robert Mugabe...your land and Africa decolonisation legacy will live on.
