Yea my guy had to be using steroids for American History X. Those traps are way too big for even a dull year of insane training. That takes roids or multiple years. You can get a six pack or big arm muscles but those neck traps are generally a good way to tell if a guy is natural or not. Muscle tissue is really hard to build there, especially for guys that weight 150lbs. Id think a heavier guy who naturally gains weight easier could maybe do it in a year but not ed. Imo.

According to how I heard it, he sat in on the editing sessions with the director and disagreed with many of the decisions they were making throughout the process. So he went back in by himself and edited his own version which was longer and darker, and that's the version the studio went with.

Agreed. I think the same thing was being said about Heath Ledger as the Joker. Before that role, he was seen as this sensitive, good-looking, charming boy and he had roles to match that image. Nobody expected him to do well as a scary, psychotic, evil, mastermind. Then he just delivered probably one of the best villain roles of all time.

Love Joe's Podcast and love y'alls channel For making his Podcast more accessible but I do have a suggestion. What about putting time stamps in your descriptions in case anybody wants to see a continuation of your clip on his main video. Like as in this clip begins at 36:00 and ends at 41:08. Again just a suggestion but that would actually make things a lot easier I think for everyone involved and makes it much more attainable for those intrested in certain parts of his Podcast but don't have time to sit through the full 3 hours.

This movie to me is very inspirational in that how loss can effect anger and that anger leads you to a very vulnerable mind set that can lead down some dark roads. The great thing is the transformation from skinhead to realization of the futility of anger.
@davehartnett2901
@davehartnett2901 4 жыл бұрын
The movie was based off of a book loosely called Autobiography of a recovering skinhead. He’s my really good friend Frank Meeink. If you are a fan of the movie try giving the book a read. Hollywood embellished a lot compared to the book, like getting raped in prison, but Frank was Derek Vineyard in real life. Frank has helped me through a lot of my own struggles growing up in a gang in Chicago and moving past it. Hatred claims many victims along the way but you never realize it until it’s too late most of the time. Great movie and acting on Norton’s part as well.
