So use to play a lot as a teenager and got back into the game just last month. I am a die hard Eldar fan so I played them and was terrible at them. My lose streak was so long that the moment I won a game I got a 20% discount from the store manager! What you said at 10:12 resonated with me so strongly and I want to thank you for making these videos to help me learn 10th edition! Best wishes!

Dude haha absolutely!! When I was a kid I got a consolidation prize for going 0-3 in an RTT at my local store when I was 13!! Of course playing the mighty Eldar!! Definitely keep at it they are tough to learn but so rewarding you will never want to pick up another army!

Excellent video cheers. Could you do another video at some point covering openings? Like some turn 1-2 examples? If you have time of course. Would be great for new and returning players like me :)

Sure can!! Baiting and trading are a big part of the game I’ll definitely do a video on that!

Great video as always, I love using infiltrators to lock my opponents in their deployment zone and allow me to move more freely on the board. That's something I learned from skari from playing a lot of dark eldar and apply to eldar as well.
@ProxyHammer16 ай бұрын
Absolutely! Dark Eldar and Eldar can play very similarly!

Great video! I have a game coming up this weekend with my Death Guard buddy, and I know his strategy is to distract me by putting pox walkers in front of his valuable units. This video has given me good ideas about target priority, and movement going around the flanks. Last game I had with him I had to concede turn 3 haha.
@ProxyHammer16 ай бұрын
Dude happy to help! Ya you definitely don’t want to charge into pox walkers and expose yourself, forcing your opponent to the middle will help you immeasurably and going for the flanks will help against those pesky plague burst!

Hey quick question, at 24:24 you talk about advancing 6 with wraith units. Are you referring to the options provided by (1) fate dice or (2) MATCHLESS AGILITY stratagem? I'm aware of those, just wanted to make sure I'm not missing something else. Thanks as always!
@ProxyHammer1Ай бұрын
Yes those are the two options! You got it my friend! 😉😎

Awesome video, Proxy! I went looking but I didn't find any videos on reserves and deep striking. Is it ever worth doing those things with the Eldar? isn't it just better to have the unit advantage on deployment?
@ProxyHammer12 ай бұрын
Most of the time its better to just deploy your units unless your opponent has a bunch of indirect.
@Mystical_Socrates2 ай бұрын
@@ProxyHammer1 Ah yeah that's what I thought. It's a shame there aren't effective ways to use reserves to disrupt your opponents strategy. Every time I've tried it or seen someone else try it, the unit doesn't do much and then just dies. Then again, maybe it's a faction thing? Coz I play a lot against the Necron and they seem to have pretty good tools for deep strike gameplay.
@ProxyHammer12 ай бұрын
@@Mystical_Socrates Ya for sure, more durable units tend to deep strike better imho

Also... you play these damn baneblade guard lists...they just redeploy three things after everything, so its like.... wtf just happened... lol
@ProxyHammer15 ай бұрын
I find on most heavy terrain those baneblades only really have once or two places to deploy anyways so its easy to out guess your opponent!
@WarhammerDad15 ай бұрын
@@ProxyHammer1 I do have an issue with them... only because the lists im seeing are so shooting heavy... like incredibly shooting heavy... its the reason im finally running this crazy list this week. 3 prisms, 3 support Dz nuts will at least give me a fun chance.

@@WarhammerDad1 Probably not if you are getting shot that badly as Eldar. There are some good examples of how terrain should be in the leviathan mission pack

@ProxyHammer16 ай бұрын
I think for him to really be worth it you need to utilize multiple units that have scout of that you want to move into reserve he sounds good on paper but overall for 100pts his redeployment is t all that great
