Those where the days without the internet you had to listen to all the records, I love the smashing pumkins but I did the same mistake I listened to Musaur JRdhoney when I wanted Sonic Youth. And I wanted to listen to the Pumpkins when I wanted a record from Buffalo Tom and in the end I bought one from Dinosaur Jr

Ed, thank you so much for posting this. I was also on the rail, just a few places to the left of you. I saw The Afghan Whigs when they played the fine line in 2022, and this show was so much better. They are so great live!

Brilliant, yes, I remember you (and nice to meet you!). The only thing about this show is that it was too short...I could have used a few more of the old favorites, but it was definitely a great night!! Happy the sound on these came out so good on an audience recording using a phone..

Thanks Ed. I was hoping to travel from Florida to make this show but couldn't make it work. Saw them in Tampa in 2022

Hope you at least get a little bit of a Whigs-fix through this vid! Throw it onto a large TV screen if you can!

Curley has his bass cranked up louder than I've ever heard him play before!

Well, don't forget that I was also right in front of him. But I also play bass and I just love watching his style...

@@indie_music_travelsThat's it! I was actually wondering if you were recording in front of his amp, cause I've seen them in concert many times & have never heard his bass that loud. He is a great bassist with a unique style!

@@toddlesiak3837 Yeah, definitely I had posted up closer to him because I just love his whole vibe while playing his bass, like you say, very unique style...

First song sounded a bit like the bass in Joy Division!

@@markeggins890 You're dead on, both John and Peter Hook play Rickenbackers that bass line is high on the neck, much like Hookey's best work, so similar qualities, thank you for pointing that out! I love it when someone picks up on something that had totally escaped my notice...

Wdym? Rejecting the tribe of nomads from hell and their globalist socioeconomic agenda isn’t racist or anything. It isn’t even patriotic. It’s humane.
