My wife and I are going to see them this Saturday night (also saw the Hypnogogue tour mid last year). I'm hoping the set list differs from this, as Unguarded Moment & Almost With You are missing. You Took is such a brilliant way to finish.

Oh, you lucky sod!!!! Who are they touring with? I loved this whole evening in Minneapolis for all of the reasons mentioned in my write up of this post. However, the double-edged sword of a co-headlining band such as Afghan Whigs, (who were equally brilliant) was that the band couldn't do one of their epic two-hour-plus shows. You're seeing them in Hobart on the 30th? ps. I don't mean to get your hopes up but they played both UM and AWY in Sydney the other night according to setlist.fm! 28 songs too...damn...You took also, that's gonna be epic!!!

@@indie_music_travels Thanks, yes it will be great. The tour is based around their first four albums, so AMY & UM will definitely be played. I am imagine the set list in Sydney will be the same. I saw them with a mate in June last year, so this time around I'm taking my wife. Hoping they will play Metropolis, which was their last hit (albeit minor hit) in Australia. Thanks for the upload, I hope that you still enjoyed the show, even though you were busy filming🤔?!!

TBH, I really enjoy filming shows, I've discovered that the less you do while shooting (keep it in frame, keep it steady) is more important than chasing shots and doing live zoom-ins. So I only need to momentarily glance away from the stage every minute or so. You can do a lot once you're editing the raw footage!!! Enjoy the 30th!!!

That was one of the only shitty things about the festival, Algernon was on the second stage and they played right before Cap'n Jazz on the main stage. There was simply no time to see both sets properly. I wanted a good spot near the barrier for Cap'n, so had to skip Algernon altogether, which really sucked...

That's amazing, I'm jealous!!! To have seen the band with some of the original members. I'm still so grateful to have seen the band more recently, it has really been bucket-list worthy. But I do hope I get the chance to see one of those epic two hour-plus shows!!!!!

YES! A million thank yous. It is SO good to see Scott and Jared get more camera time - I didn't even know Scott was fingerpicking, and I've seen them three times already! Invaluable footage for learning their songs. Fuck cancer, I'm holding the highest hopes that Sara recovers without any issue.

Not at all, I live in Vegas. When I heard this festival was happening in my backyard, I could not believe it at all... still can't, really. I actually had no idea Lizzy was at the festival until I sent her a clip of this set (knowing what a fan she is of BTS) and she replied that she was front row. What a cool and small world LOL

Funny you ask that, I was just working on final edits last night!!! The only caveat is that the sound on "Entirely Different Matters" is horribly distorted. It gets better further on. I have not been able to find a good audio source for the full set but I will look for a better version of EDM so that I can swap out the audio. In any case, it should be done and posted tonight. I was just adding song titles and end-credits! They were sooooo damn good.....

I don't think I've ever heard them play Non-Photo Blue at album tempo. It sounds so frantic uptempo, IMO

It's funny, I've seen them a bunch of times basically since the Blue Screen Life tour and definitely that first time seeing them, it was so disconcerting hearing some of the gentler songs in uptempo, thinking specifically of Penelope. Now I'm used to it but they even have that shirt now about seeing Pinback and they played everything a little faster 😁

Hey Elizabeth! I managed to make it to all the shows last week, which was pretty insane. The BTS set from BFF that I posted doesn't have the greatest sound, but someone is going to pass me better audio to replace with, so be on the lookout for that one! Pinback came out nicely, some of the other stuff needs a bit of tinkering. That Drop Nineteens show on Songkick keeps staring me in the face...
