As a jester you can play with ANY side you want, something people don't seem to understand. Whenever I play jester town tends to rage on me for not wanting to help them and I'm like... "Why should I? This is a role that lets me side with whoever I want, why are you trying to force me to help one faction?" I've never had problems with the evils in that regard, for me it's mostly the townies who get salty about it.

Year late, but what you should understand is Jester is neutral EVIL. Siding with town is boring, but if they actively played to get you the win, fair enough. Just played a game where my consig basically outed himself as not LO to get Jester the win and jester responds by killing me because he knew I was evil

that lookout was an idiot for not claiming. he was called out many times and said nothing so when the time came he looked suspicious af. if he claimed, he wouldnt have been roleblocked by skimm thus making him useless to town. and that will was top notch btw. also saying that "i posted will to jailor" is completely useless to town

It was an all-round bad play on his part, a TI that doesn't post their will isn't spreading information to the town, a town lacking information is the difference between winning and losing. As a TI you should always keep town informed, same with the doc/vet situation, if the invest didn't speak up and call out the doc, they wouldn't have figured out who visited the vet because doc was trying not to out themselves when doing so was vital.

Just going to point out that skimm blocked the lookout night 1 so "he wouldn't of blocked him if he claimed" why would lo bother claiming D1? As for "invest speaking up to find SK" that was actually the consig that for some reason pointed out the doc maybe they hoped to get a mislynch when they could have just said nothing let SK get another kill then call out doc or kill them to reveal who SK was in the will.

I had a game yesterday that was my last straw. Day 2 x claimed sheriff and that xy was sus. Xyz claims sheriff as well and that xy was sus. I'm jailor so I confirm that xy was jailed so that's not possible. Town still hangs xy and xyz claims exe. So I jail and execute the one that claimed exe since x pushed xy first. Turns out x was vigi who was friends with xyz who wanted to help him get a win. I'm so over this game

Well, if you want a great comeback story, I’ve got one. I was a gf, woopty doo. We have a forger and a bm. I decided that claiming doc would be my best move. BG dies n1 to Sk. I still claim doc. The next night jailer was a random hit but he had doc on him. Doc (x) comes out. I still claim doc. The next day, x asks for my role and I claim doc. They push me but I don’t die. Our Bm’er finds out that there is a second doc (xy) and we kill him and forge him. X claims attacked and healed the next night and I hop on and say that I healed them. Xy is dead and forged but bm’er saw his will so he told forger what to write and replace. Mafioso dies after being found by ti, forger dies from a random vigi shot. Bm’er leaves (dc I think) and I’m all alone against 7 town. They start random lynching and eventually it comes down to who we think is the sk in a 1 v 1 v 3. They hang who they think is the sk but I was actually TI. 1 v 1 v 2, Second TI finds sk and they get lynched. 1 v 2. X says “Be on me and I’ll be on you, we’ve won.” (Last guy said afk which made him even more sus.) I kill the last guy and we go into the last day. X realizes his mistake. I laugh.

i also had a game where it was a pretty mediocre game, even though i got reported. i was mayor, and i had just revealed. i not one, but TWO people say they were reporting me for revealing. it’s not like i was randomly revealing, it was late game and close. anyway, they voted up someone who i knew was town bc they were confirmed lookout. no one believed them, and someone even said “yeah their will is right but they’re still kinda susp”. most guiltied, but me and someone else innoed. i kid you not, i had 4 different people claim to report me for “trolling”. we revoted up someone else and still won, but i still am salty because the jailor said he carried, excuting a townie N2 and going afk until then end.

For a second, I thought this Was the game that happened to me a few days ago. The ranked game that I was in, I was Godfather and was posing as a Sheriff claim. Eventually, it came down to me, a dead on Vigilante that was out of bullets, and this AFK townie. However, I had been posting my will daily and had accurate results courtesy of a Consigilere feeding me information. This Consig was nice enough to start acting like a Jester before they were shot. Anyway, the AFK Townie came back, and unfortunately the Vigi wasn't aware of my loyalty. I was so certain they'd push me up. That's when the AFK Townie said they were "BG". So we hung em, and surprising to the Vig, they were indeed BG with no will. The dead chat must of been excited about this, because the next night when I killed the Vigilante, a Medium used their seance and congratulated me. I told them "I really should not have won." Probably one of my favorite games that I have ever played in Town of Salem.

Just played a game as sheriff and i died n1 to maf, but i also found maf. I got revived a few nights later by ret. then i got shot by the vigi. (No witch, no transporter. Jester was already dead) and then with ret and vigi against thr SK who claimed SK cause he thought there was a maf still alive, vigi inno’d SK and guiltied the retributionist and then shot himself because he killed me... this guy needs to be banned for throwing twice in the same game.

I won a game as Werewolf with an AFK person, it was a BG, Werewolf and Doc, somehow convinced the BG that I was a doc and using the doc/bg combo and the AFK person was the Werewolf (the person claimed they were lagging but WE didn't believe them), go the doc hung and the BG rage quit and I won. Fun Fact: The Mafia found me out early and I shouldn't have won.

Ace was the kind of person that's made it really hard for me to play ranked recently. Tells everyone to guilty, then gets mad at town for guiltying. I played an interesting coven game as a spy. I was a spy in a ranked practice Coven game. On n4 jailor jailed the PM on that very same nights there was no CV’s. I kinda ignored it until the person that was in jail claimed that he was attacked…I pushed hard on that claim and mass spammed my will trying to get him hung. They finally got him up and voted guilty. (During this time there were 2 spy claims and 1 said that coven did visit him, I said there was none.). I was very close to being hung because of this dude, but anyways we we hung the jailed dude and turned out he was PM. Well a few seconds after that the fake spy yells “HE WAS INNO JAILOR EXE THE FAKE SPY” a bunch of other town jumped on board too idk why. Anyways, I was jailed and got into an argument with the jailor about why I was confirmed town (I was 10 seconds away from being dead before he changed his mind). The next day came around and we got the fake spy claim, which turned out to be jest, and guess what I WAS STILL SUS!!!! What do y’all think of this situation? (On the bright side I was totally ignored by coven for the rest of the game)

Craziest game ever (I shouldn’t have won!) so gf and mafioso got killed within the first three days, the forger became mafioso and I was disg. I claimed TP to the confirmed BG and when an invest checked me I still showed up as doc/disg/sk (arso game). Day 5 mafioso gets lynched and I look sus af. 3 people not confirmed, the first guy got jailed and I didn’t kill, claimed to be on the BG. The guy was jailed and executed while I killed jailor. I had the BG pocketed so we pushed the (confirmed but kinda dumb) invest and I won. Disguiser is powerful if u use it right

I had a game of ranked 2 days ago where it was first time I got blackmailer. I was in class and that was my name and I claimed spy which is a obvious bm claim I know, but it’s first time as bm. Somebody was suspicious of me but town being dumb ignored them. Skimm, I just had the WEIRDEST game ever! I was Mafioso, I attack the Jailor which was confirmed by a Consig on the night the GF was jailed, during the day, they didn't die, and it didn't say they were healed while it should say that, and then, when the doc was confirmed by Consig, I attack them, but, again, they didn't die and no message saying that they were healed, idk why, but, something is very suspicious here... Normally, it should SAY they were healed, but, it didn't say that at all, is this a change to the game or is this a bug? I wasn't RBd or witched, yet, I get no message that they were attacked or that they were healed, plz tell me this is just a bug and not a game mechanic...

You do not see if your target was healed, only if they are naturally immune, if they were jailed, or if they were protected by a BG, in which case you die.

My guess is 4 with 2 methods. 1) Amne becomes Exe, Exe becomes Jester, Jester becomes Vampire. 2) Amne becomes Vampire Hunter, Vampire hunter becomes Vigi (second Amne becomes Vampire at some point after this step), vampire bites Vigi.

Tips for good evil wills: 1. Keep it clean and to the point, as Skimm points out in many of his videos wills that have a lot of excess information seem susp. 2. Always have some unique/useful information (even if you make it up off the top of your head) because a will that has no info or only has info that town already knows is also very susp. 3. Try to avoid claiming roles that people hang easily like spy, sheriff, and BG, in some instances you might have to claim those roles because there's no room left but avoid these claims at all costs! 4. Don't be afraid to rewrite your entire will in the middle of the game, unlike other players your will is fake and you have the ability to change it, a bad Sheriff will is better than a good Doctor will if 3 Doctors have already died in your game. 5. Dig in when you get caught and bluff like there's no tomorrow (because there probably isn't for you.) This is honestly just good advice for being an evil role in general. If someone catches you red-handed just simply say that they're lying, I can't tell you the number of times I've been saved by simply saying "no that person is wrong" or by making such a bold claim/accusation that town either believes me or gets too confused and does nothing that day. The worst thing that can happen is you get hung anyway and when you don't that one extra night can make the difference.

One time I was almost lynched because I looked away from my computer for a few seconds and they called me out because I was ret in a janitor game. It happens, but be prepared to be hanged if so, don’t fight the hanging too hard or it will make you look even worse. Depending on your role, you may even get one night to prove yourself if you embrace that you screwed up.
