I remember one time I was a Doctor. I healed many people set to be killed. I semi-revealed that I was the doctor, people didn't exactly listen. I didn't say specifically, but when they said they were nearly killed but healed, I would say "You welcome". When someone finally caught on, It appears they would try to kill me. I became suspicious. So I used my self heal. The sun dawned, and I was attacked, and, I don't know why, but they didn't attack me again. Maybe they thought I really wasn't a doctor and I was, executioner, or something. On another game, I played as "Electronic Arts". I got targeted by four people on the first night.

Your name factors into N1 attacks a lot. Whether you're getting reghunted nowadays (people who play under the same name to such an extent they're "ToS famous" now so they end up getting killed N1 simply because evils know they're a regular player and are likely gonna be better than normal players -- especially true if you're known to be a Jailor who doesn't claim N1) or if you just name yourself someone or something people generally love to hate. If you named yourself like Robb Stark for instance right after the Red Wedding happened in Game of Thrones, you could just about guarantee that you'd be attacked on N1 and your death note, dollars to donuts, would always read "The Lannisters send their regards". And this might actually still work to this day, who knows.

Had a game where I was the transporter. Night one the witch tried to control me and I was killed by mafia. Then another player (sub was his name in game) claims he was witched. It was ranked practice so I knew there was only one witch and he was lying. So I told the medium at night that sub lied about it and is most likely the actual witch. Medium gets attacked and killed at night, but his will only says "sub might be evil." He didn't have my explanation at all, so no one listened to it. I told him to seance the veteran (who just got kills and was confirmed) that sub was lying and was evil. He did seance him, but then left in the middle of the night. Then at the start of the day the veteran says the medium seanced him, said hello a few times, then left. The medium was also named hi so he was basically not passing along actual info because he wanted to be in character. At that point I rage quit before I could report him

Or when I'm Med I try so hard and have a long will (one time so long that I literally kept typing my will and nothing would show because no more room) and yet people don't listen to Med. I was told 'why even write a will? We aren't going to listen to you because you probably just wrote random things. No one listens to the dead-- if there even are any.' That infuriates me that people claim that Medium shouldn't be a role, yet when they ACTUALLY don't die N1, they continue to just watch everything happen and do nothing like, for example, play on Facebook/be on another tab. I agree but in fairness, mediums have to be weak. There have to be some shit roles for town because town always has to outnumber the evil roles at the start of the game. If all of the townies were investigators, bodyguards, and jailors it would be nearly impossible for any evil role to win. So we get the retributionist, escort, and medium, three roles that are decent in optimal situations and do nothing in pretty much every other situation (escort has a bit more leeway but they also tend to hinder the town if they are bad at scum reading.) They are basically fodder to give the town more time to find evil roles before they lose the majority of votes or lose their key roles like jailor. Its an unavoidable part of the game, only a few players can be the heroes and villains of each match, everyone else is just kinda there.

That was quite enjoyable! I think I was wrong when I made my first comment on one of your videos when I said you were too robotic and business-like and it made the video feel less fun. After I said that comment, I've watched about...10 or so more of your TOS videos, and they're honestly pretty fun. Watching people get salty at you, or report you, was entertaining. And I definitely saw a lot more of your personality come out in other videos that I guess I just didn't fully see in the one I picked out first, so I was wrong. Seeing you get aggressive to some jailed targets and yet still having fun and being proud of yourself by the end proves that you really are having fun with this, and that's awesome. By the way, Jailor is probably my favorite role, too. That or Veteran, Bodyguard, or Transporter. I basically love roles that can kill other people or mess them up, but you're still not basically a bad guy (I hate being the evil roles).

Requesting TP and complaining that you're not healed is just needy. It's not too risky in classic, but TPs should shy away from those who request in case of vet bait (as well as medusa, crusader, ambusher in coven). Imo, never expect someone to protect you, even if you ask.

Jailor is fun, but it's pretty stressful for me. I remember one time in Classic I got Jailor and I ended up getting accused/reported for "ghosting" since I managed to exe all mafia, but not in a row. Like 50% of that was *pure luck* , but I also had valid reasons. 1. Mafioso claimed med n1 and day 2 actual med died, I think via sk or maf, so I jailed them again and exed. 2. Framer claimed jest when jailed, but I just didn't believe them so I executed. 3. Gf was pure luck and gut instinct, plus he flat out accused me of cheating when I hit execute as soon as I could so he pretty much just proved my decision to execute him was correct right there lmao. I remember one other person agreeing while I was just fucking confused since I didn't know what ghosting was at the time. Shit even now I'm like 100% sure they were just salty I was both lucky and not as dumb as the usual classic townies.
