A pure pleasure to watch: no overly dramatic and loud music and no overly emotional narrator. Only calm voice and sounds of nature. Thank you for uploading it!

I like older documentaries for the same reasons you stated. Some today have parts cut out or excess background music that you can't hear the narrator.
no annoying music like most other documentaries. very relax

Imagine all these animal's are now long dead with the exception of the very young elephant's that are here as they can live over 50yrs, but are captured forever on camera/film, possibly only some or all of these human's that did this work will be still alive, great doco thank's for the up-load :D] .v ..

Little baby elephants run so fast as if they don't want to be late for something maybe they need to get there for more time to play. Baby elephant is the cutest thing especially when playing. I don't know who I like more then lion cub or baby elephant I hope I never have to choose. Thanks for videos.

My God the elephant knew exactly where the turtle was hiding close against the feet and fell to step on the turtle it even pushed the turtle back out the way. The elephant is not only smart but has class why step on the turtle just because I can. That was something I like that.

Yes Roshan, I totally agree. I could not believe the Herons hunting unique pattern and the pre-historic horror of the Terrapins. The story of how every creature turns up to "The Waterhole" makes for an epic story. I adore Des & Jen Bartlett films.

The old documentaries had something special in them. Any time i see one, the music, the narration, the story all of it seems so great that it feels like it was filmed on different planet and by different species. Today's documentaries are good and backed pretty well by new technologies and more solid facts but they all seem focused on specific point. Which by science point of view should be best for further enhancing knowledge and discovery but they lack something that makes only specific age group follow them while remaining age group forced to completely avoid it. Wild life Documentaries are supposed to broaden knowledge but only focusing on that specific part has done less help than it should have been.

I was enjoying the video until the narrator, without even naming the tortoise, said it could swim as it waddled around in the shallows. I stopped watching at that point as I watch documentaries to get educated on the subject and if he made that false statement who knows how much other false information is in the video - Tortoises can't swim, the odd one can float.
