For me this game was only played at friends houses as a child so now at 37 I have a stright up fetish for it 😅 Literally built a gaming pc myself to play it when the remaster dropped, not even a pc gamer.

mission 1: oh no my base is getting destroyed and i really REALLY need to build my helipad on this specific area being blocked by a tank and i dont want it to build it elsewhere where theres now space to do so after my buildings all destroyed!

Red Alert is back, that's a good news. I wonder how much time you spent studying AI behavior to find weak spots and associated build blockages. Bravo really it is admirable. Mission 6, well... Uhm..

many, many times, I also studied all of the maps in the map editor to find additional tricks and time-saves!

Nobody wants to know how many hours I "invested" in Red Alert back then :D. At that time still played on the PS1 with the additional difficulty of not being able to save the mission :D. If I get interested again then I'll go back to the missions. But if I'm already thinking about the extensions of RA then I'll leave it for now ^^. Allied Mission 13 is much worse.
