Wow - what a wonderful presentation of the context surrounding the Nativity. Had never heard any of this before - thank you for the unique perspective! How ironic it is that the Prince of Peace was born into such a tumultuous time and place. We should be far less stressed by current events, which pale in severity by comparison with His times.
