We’ve had this same narrative every off season for the last 10 years. I will inevitably get my hopes up for A&M to have a historic season. But as an Aggie, I will proceed with caution emotionally. Maybe that’s the battered Aggie syndrome in me.

What I’m saying is that a lot of aggie fans are trying to not hype THIS season. A lot of us understand with a first year coach it’s really unpredictable. But the media is kinda pushing the narrative that we’re a “sleeper/dark horse” to end up a playoff team.
