I had to watch the intro sequence twice because Ria pointed out to me you were holding a different item in each clip. I had literally seen you with a sieve and a fire extinguisher when I watched it for the first time, and yet I didn't even question it... WTF is wrong with my brain??? 😂 🤦‍♂️ I reckon you're right though: if your channel has started in 2015, same content, same period of time, your channel would have seen far more success... it's a much harder grind now. I'd be gutted if your videos stopped coming!

I like the Vlog side of thing. But I suppose it is difficult for new viewers to dive in.....they might have to watch lots of past videos to understand what is going on. Not gonna happen with most people. Discrete projects spread over max 2 or 3 videos is better. But I like seeing the project grow incrementally.

Really liked this video, it's great to see someone being so honest (second half of the video) with their metrics. Its really hard to find out this information for the smaller channels, the big guys do it but its great to see how it translates down the chain.

Keep the vlog style Gary, it’s very informative, interesting and good to pick certain things up. If you do snippets on how to do things it’ll end up like a lot of the rest. I’m on with my second and final renovation/conversion and I’ve picked up some great points you’ve covered ie, the laser, which I got just after the discount ended, it has been invaluable and robust (took a direct hit from a piece of 4x2 and is still going), drainage and how to test, expansion joints etc etc Keep doing what your doing, also you could do a sideline as comedian, this was a brilliant one, had me also at the start!

Man just keep it up, from "little acorns mighty Oaks grow" the colab with Rag 'n' Bone Brown was great, got me over here. Look at what is being done on the DIY channels and do something different, see if there is something no one is doing on the DIY channels. Proper DIY youtube channel does different things about his property, a mate of Keith as well. Never BS about anything, just say I don't know about this but----- let's see what we can learn together. Never worry about the keyboard warriors telling you your crap and know nothing, ignore them. if they were any good they would have their own YT channel. Hope all goes well for you.

To be honest, think most your content is better than many* of the DIYers, it annoys me they market themselves as amazing and on occasion do mediocre jobs. Whereas you are honest in where your skills sit and in general over achieve 😂 need to get some bigger context going, cart lodge, bathroom etc. Was good 👍🏼 (*caveat: not all other DIY channels but several)
