Two codes I recommend trying in the Workshop: VAXTA and ZHTD8. Also recommend Tryhard FFA whenever available in custom games!

For new players, I'm recomending to load Kings Row map, filled up it with bots. Disable their attack and skills, then train aim from different angles, highground, at while cowering. You can choose specific bots and you have zero dowtime at while training. Problem with DM with real people is if you cant hit Zen/Ana bots, then is no point of to go into the DM, you die fast, you need to search enemy. But I agree, if are bots for you "too ez", DM is the best way to train aim.

What about ZHTD8? I really like this one because of the chaotic situations and it uses the actual maps so it solves the aiming up/down problem edit: forgot to credit the creator of the code D4ichin, they even have a showcase video on their channel

i was a bit scared when i saw the subject :D But i'm agree with Spilo's conclusion. If you enjoy your training / having good results with, it's fine. I see too many dudes saying aim trainers are useless or the opposite that think aim trainers is key for success. The answer is between.

Idk if you’ll see this but if your that dedicated still you should search up RiddBTW. Specifically his science of aim playlist. He goes over how your brain learns so you can aim training more effectively. Good luck to anyone who reads this. Aim training is kind of like working out. It’s a marathon not a sprint. Being consistent is more important than overworking yourself for a week or 2

use iostux's aim trainer for that amount of time and i bet you see results. easily one of my new favorites and it actually helps you improve over time. my first time using it i immediately felt a difference, and ingame i had the best aim i've had in such a long time. might be because of my faith in iostux but still try it out lol

You need to understand that it's just training, it doesn't matter if you train if ur not actually using it in real matches. Spend less time training and more time in game.

The whole problem with vaxta and it being mainly horizontal aim I fixed by adding more maps with custom spawn points so they worked. This allowed me to no pressure warm up with corners and verticality.

There's one along the lines of "Aim trainer with bots on junkertown." Initially, it looks like VAXTA just on different map, but it has some variety. On the ledge outside of attacker spawn are a sniper spawn (Ashe, Widow, Hanzo). Pharah Mercy flying around over the payload. A flanker on one of the catwalk areas. My favorite part of this mode is that when you hit the target, the target fights back.

@@meat. that "definitely" is definitely wrong if you mean aimtraining in kovaaks. Aimtraining in overwatch deathmatches like suggested you know that everything you do just translates over directly. While playing tilefrenzy and cata ic long strafes for 1h will get you no where. That was my point with voltaic, sure it teaches mouse control for many different situations, but like 85% of them do not apply to regular widowmaker of this level. If he would grind voltaic to nova, then sure but thats like getting bachelor in mathematics to calculate your avarage grocery spending. Replacing 1h of voltaic with 25min of "better move" from ridd would just be alot more effective here.

@@vladgaedel8521 I strongly disagree. Firstly static clicking scens do almost directly translate to in game flick accuracy and speed. The dynamic scens drastically reduce the amount of times you whiff on someone who’s moving in a straight line/not actively dodging (not whiffing easy shots is literally the most important thing for widows at this skill level, so your 85% comment is a bit confusing). All of those times where you fail to adjust onto the enemy widow that’s just strafing slightly? That’s dynamic clicking. All the times you miss easy shots on jumping enemies or grappling widows? Dynamic clicking. And the tracking scens are very useful for when you are charging, shooting a tank, waiting for a shield to drop, etc.. It’s absolutely worth grinding voltaic to Diamond. It’s worth more to go from bronze to diamond than Diamond to nova, because past Diamond it becomes a matter of grinding benchmarks. I’m very confused as to how you think ranks that require you to be a kovaaks main only grinding benchmarks are worth it, but developing foundational skills to an above average level isn’t. The only thing it doesn’t help with is ADAD crouch. But for that you just do scens like counterstrafing floating heads and WPV multipeek/WPV valFS. Aim training in deatchmatch is getting dove by a genji and shot in the back. It will make you better at Overwatch and you will over time get better mechanics (and your raw aim will slowly improve), but you’d make more progress splitting between deathmatch and kovaaks. There is no aiming mechanic that is more efficiently trained in DM than kovaaks. 0 kovaaks and only DM is a baffling take. And your take about voltaic only being worth it through grinding to nova also doesn’t make much sense. If anything that would be actively harmful because past a certain point, you are no longer developing mouse control and are simply a kovaaks main grinding benchmarks. Getting to plat or Diamond is literally free improvement across any game you might want to play, and takes like 4 months. The idea that a voltaic bronze or silver should just stop and only DM because voltaic won’t do anything unless your nova doesn’t make any logical sense. There is a point of diminishing returns with voltaic rank and in game performance. If you’re saying that nova is worth it, then logically grinding to the point of diminishing returns for in game aim is also worth it because nova won’t be much more helpful than that is. All in all just a very questionable take.

@@Nero-lm6wj to much to read, but shortly you make the mistake of throwing all static scens into one pot, while there are clearly ones that are better for ow widow and some that are worse. Train the better ones. They are not in voltaic gold playlist. As said, go train your tile frenzy for an hours, its a static clicking right? no, go play 1wall6 targets small its clearly superior for widow. Btw. i also want to add that your confusion arises because you simply cant read, i mean you cant read simple text but then want to learn to read bot movement in kovaaks. No one has argued "0 kovaaks and only dm" like you say is a baffling take, no one said kovaaks is useless, its said that 1h voltaic grind is not efficient. And thats the point 85% of the voltaic scenarios can be replaced by better scenarios that fit widow better. Maybe try to read the text next time and not just pick the prejudice you have in your brain and project it to others.
