I am so thrilled to see this. I watched when Bruce picked it up and thought it would be another of his bombs and when he had the good sense to sell it to you, I subscribed, dropped him, and waited for this day. Can’t wait to see what’s next for this great old girl. Bless you and your family.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
@Drew_3793 жыл бұрын
Why would you drop Bruce?
@billarends22443 жыл бұрын
@@Drew_379 This is gonna take awhile!! I started watching Bruce because of the “will it start?”, and then he got into the cab overs. I was really interested in watching him bring these trucks back to life but things went down quickly. I and many other viewers commented that he should be sure they were mechanically sound before chrome and polishing. We were referred to as haters, keyboard cowboys, and know nothings. Many of us were vested in his efforts and many of us are experienced truckers, farmers and ranchers, and mechanics (I am 74). We offered advice and how to comments and were ridiculed. He would devote entire videos to rants about how he knew best and his problems and inability to complete projects was always somebody else’s fault. He had a guy called Iceman polishing for him. One day Iceman is gone and Bruce goes on a rant about how sorry he was for not coming to work. Bruce was real high on him up to then and always referred to him as his BOY. Iceman is black, not cool, Bruce. Two sides to every story; according to Iceman, he called Bruce and told him he down with his back and he was having problems getting paid too. Don’t know the whole story, don’t care, but didn’t need a whole video about it. This is getting too long, but these happened over and over. He ranted about other “employees”, talked to and allowed trash talk to Amber, had a video about her miscarriage, not something that I need to know, refused advice on installing such things as a headache rack and other minor add on to a truck with a bad motor, trashed transmission, and rats nest wiring. Many of his viewers were subjected to the name calling and ridicule he is so good at. I could go on and on but let’s get to Bruce’s legal woes. Many of us urged Bruce to get his CDL, he assured us we were stupid and it didn’t apply to him because was in Florida on local roads for private hauls. Next thing we see is Bruce hauling logs, oh well it’s on him, but then he goes to Michigan and winds up in jail for probation violation. If you don’t know Bruce was convicted for insurance fraud and some charges related to running a chop shop. There were 3 guys involved. Bruce got probation that stated, among other things, don’t leave the state without permission, get a job, no you tube, report any contact with law enforcement. He goes to Michigan, does a video, gets picked for traffic violation, all are points of probation violation and he goes to jail whining and crying about how unfair it is. The rules don’t apply to him and that’s why I and many others dropped Ol Bruce. One last thought. About the original fraud and chop shop charges. Bruce contends he was just trying to help a friend. He even got his mother convinced, They collected $25000 and chopped up and hid a Dodge PU. This I know, a burglary, a joy ride, shop lifting can be a spur of the moment crime. Not fraud, embezzlement, or hot checks. This requires planning and full intent to do a crime. I also know bad choices can be lived down, maybe Bruce will. THAT IS WHY I DROPPED BRUCE WILSON
@Drew_3793 жыл бұрын
@@billarends2244 ok you can give advice but that's his truck, his channel and their miscarriage. If Tim says he's a good guy then that's all I need to know. Plus Bruce has awesome content!

@@Drew_379 You are so right, it is his truck and all the other. I and others who were making good suggestions based on experience and other points never deserved to be called haters, know.nothings, and worse. Nobody ever expected Bruce or anybody else to do exactly what we said. Like I said, they were suggestions based on experience and with good intent. As for how he treats Amber, that’s her business. Old timers like me usually feel women deserve respect. As for the miscarriage, I realize people grieve in different ways but many of us felt the loss of a baby was a private thing for a couple not fodder for you-tube. Bruce obviously did not. As for his legal issues, I call bullshit. My own experience is pretty vast, insurance fraud is something you plan and work out. Nobody does it on a whim just to help someone out. And if you get caught and are lucky enough to probation thank your lucky stars and walk it down by following all the rules. If you’re gonna do the crime, you gotta do the time. As for Tim, you are right. He is one of the best American family men on the planet. His honesty and work ethic are goals for everybody. Bruce should take notes and I hope he does. I also hope Bruce is not conning Tim. The future will tell.
@billarends22443 жыл бұрын
@@Drew_379 I had a thought after our last texting. I just viewed Tim’s latest posting and this struck me. In every one of his postings he pays homage to others or is trying to help somebody. In this one he notes his friend who helped him in early years. He financed a DuraMax, loaned equipment, and taught Tim good life lessons and Tim didn’t forget. I see Tim paying it forward with doing his brother’s truck, the truck giveaway, and calling positive attention to people who help on the road, like guy who fixed the the axle on the truck he sold and was delivering. He also took care of his hand who sucked a valve or injector last Christmas. On top of all that he produces interesting content, works his ass off, and obviously devotes great love and respect to his wife and family. Those are the hallmarks of a truly good man, the fact he is American and from the south is icing on the cake.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
