@@theshootingshow hello a very good day to you Matt, what a honour it is to speak to you with out my lips moving , iv been watching you shoot for a long time, plus you do very good reviews , and you can certainly SHOOT, the 3000 came to me last Friday however the control unit big button was out of line, picked up Monday came back to me yesterday first fill hit the bull , what a fantastic company they are i sad don’t stress guys Ben in particular i sad these things happen , iv recommended a longer whip 900mm minimum with a drop down list on there site like what gun is it for , as you no your self only extended fill probe work in a Red Wolf , you can use the short however try getting it off you have too use 2 screw drivers , also I recommended labels with this side UP and fragile on the box they agree on all of the above Ye my safari Iv tooled it out back and front with back part PR-S the front with bottle clamp on 101 site with RANGER 2 CARBON FIBRE WIDE STANCE BIPOD. Very nice to see a walk about style hunt. I understand the purpose of baiting for population control but the walk about is much more challenging than the static shooting off the feeder. Thank you Matt

Lol... 🤣🤣🤣 Zeiss... Zeiss on an air rifle 🤣🤣🤣 Mat, trying to keep a stright face: "err...they do tend to cost a little more..." 🤣🤣🤣 yea... right...try, start at a around a grand!

The airgun itself is over $2,000. A Zeiss scope is appropriate.
@MKChase-uj9vx3 жыл бұрын
@@UnincredibleAim Mate... I 'scope' according to need/usage, not according to the cost of the rifle. To elaborate... the scope on my .243 foxing/deer rifle is twice the price of the rifle itself; whereas, the scope on say my FCA air or my .22 LR, are half the price of the rifle. If you want to use a £1,000 scope for Maggies and squizzers at 30 yards, (and have the cash to burn), then good on you... I'm just saying 'horses for courses'. Take care pal 👍

Good evening Matt, just a quick question for you, I've just set up a number of Squirrel feeders on a peasant shoot, the question is, what is the best time to shoot Squirrels 😎
@pauls63853 жыл бұрын
I'm not a hunter, just a gun owner and I accidently found this channel. I see the reason for hunting rats and why you use that very awesome rifles you have. Rats are a pest, what can you do if they're too many. Gotta get rid of them. But why squirrels? I mean, they can probably be a pest too if too many. Or is this just regular hunting for the sake of getting kills/trophies? Or can you actually sell them for fur? Edit: He explained it later on!
@scaredpaul5402 жыл бұрын
Grey squirrels are not native in UK and in many areas they push out native red squirrels,almost extinction level.They are also causing damage to trees by chewing young sprouts, robbing songbirds nest or killing hatched young chicks what impact their populations massively.And as a bonus they are tasty 😀
@pauls63852 жыл бұрын

This is not the same camera nor the same attachment he built on the referenced video. The one he is using here looks like a Commercial Adapter Sold to attach a camera on the side as you can observe. It also has a rubber eyecup and this indicates thar he is looking through an adapter that houses a mirror that splits the image both to the Camera and to the shooter’s eye! The adapter mount he built on the old video “forced” the shooter to focus and aim through the camera’s viewfinder screen which opened to the left.

They are "insidious" to native British wildlife. They destroy habitats and reduce the numbers of already struggling species. Don't just assume that because something is "cute" it shouldn't be culled for long term benefits
@theshootingshow3 жыл бұрын
The original poster needs to go away and learn about conservation and ecology. Judging an animal's right to live or die based on what it looks like demonstrates a huge degree of ignorance and prejudice - do you also judge people by what they look like? A rat is an intelligent warm-blooded mammal - the same as a grey squirrel - but you think it is ok to kill them because they are less cute. That is ridiculous. Grey squirrels are an invasive introduced species in the UK. They have contributed to the decline of our native red squirrel and dormice, they are highly destructive to trees and also feed on eggs and chicks from songbirds' nests. I shoot them for conservation and for food. All the best. Mat
