In my opinion, a case is one of the best AirPods Pro accessories that you can buy. You see, last year I recommended ESR’s Cyber Armor case. WELP... I was WRONG about something.
While the Cyber Armor case is very durable, the case lacked a KEY feature. It WON’T stay closed when dropped too hard on the ground. After learning the hard way and having immediate regret... i've had the pulse case for over a year now, and it's awesome. The earphones has only flown out a couple of times but other than that its solid. The adhesive strip i failing however so might use some glue to make it stick again. Can defo recommend it.

The case is awesome, looks massive and feels premium. Greatly increases the size and weight of AirPods, but it's acceptable for the extra protection and lock. It's has a gap between AirPods case and the outer case, so the lock not scrathing the AirPods. Works with MagSafe chargers, but not charging on Apple Watch charger. I got the white/grey version, I keep it in my pocket. Sadly the lock discoloring very fast in a few days and can't clean it, so if this bothers you then you should choose the black one.

Great video. I tried the pulse case per your recommendation. Had it since July and it worked well until last week. Had short drop from hip height and the latch button popped off so no longer usable for me. Reached out to ESR so hopefully they can help me out. Other than that it’s a pretty good case.

I was thinking of getting one of these, but I want to know if it's hard to pull out the airpods case if you're going to change to a new one. I tried one with my gen 2 airpods and I had trouble taking them out.

How easy is it to remove the top from the pulse case?

It comes with an adhesive sticker for the top potion, so after you install it… it’s very tough to take off. Now if you install it without that sticker, I imagine it would pop off pretty easy if dropped.

I bought an ESR Cyber Flicklock, be careful with it. If the flicklocklock is stuck on the right side, the case thinks it's closed and you don't know why your airpods are shit, why they rip off the phone, why you can't pair them etc.. The spring is supposed to pull the latch back to the left, but if not you have a faulty piece in your hand, as I do now.

i paid 40 for mine 😭😭 got them off there website accidentally bought the bundle with a charger and my AirPods don’t got wireless charging 😢 good thing my phone does

Could you provide an update on the ESR case? ((The one with the lock) I recently bought it and I had to replace it 3 times 🥲 The lock starts to give issues from day 2 itself.

Oh no, sorry to hear that! What kind of issues are you having with the lock? I have purchased 2 colors (green and blue) and haven’t had a lock issue yet. Still using it currently until someone releases something else I want to try 👏🏼

Cyber Armor. Had it for nearly 2 years now. Was truly happy with it. But - after recent wave of extreme heat days the lower case simply stopped holding the AirPods inside. It is completly loose. The only thing that holds pods inside is a top cover... which is loose as well. So basicly it`s just magnets holding it together. So I don`t recommend it to anyone.

Well, so far I buy them and keep them! That’s easier to do since AirPods cases are only 15-20 bucks a piece, haha.

Airpods are not working properly after using this magnet functionality most of the time it got disconnected not charging something is fishy with this

This happened to me as well, since it was under warranty, my charging case was replaced with a new one,

The ESR hard case with latch sucks. I used one and within three months the top keeps falling off because the adhesive is not strong enough. ESR gave me a replacement but same thing is happening. The flaw in the design is the case is hard - and doesn’t naturally grip on to the case like most of the other softer plastic cases. So it all hinges on their adhesive- which I feel is the same as other cases which is not strong enough. 💀

Oh no! Sorry you had issues with it. Mine is still going strong, but I’ll be on the lookout for issues with the adhesive not sticking.
