I sure like the way you treat people Mr. Martin. Our society could learn a thing or two from you in that regard. I'll be back on Wednesday for some more Wisdom. GOD bless you Sir.

I love it Roland! It's real hard to beat this time of year in Arkansas! Turkeys gobbling, Walleye dinners with a side dish of morel mushrooms! Gah, that makes a fella feel alive! I know this is a year later, but I'm sure your in Arkansas again this spring. I'll be visiting my Ark property in another week. Maybe I'll see ya on the water!

Mr Roland, you are one of the main reasons I am into fishing. I have been watching you since I was 10 years old, and I have to say it is just as entertaining to watch you fish now as when I was a kid just learning. Besides my father, nobody has had a bigger impact on my fishing hobby than you have. Keep up the good work and please keep the videos coming!

One of the best things about fishing is enjoying the fellowship of "old Friends." Willie Nelson and Roger Miller and Ray Price sing a "triette??" about the fact that you can't make new - old friends. I hope Rodney continues to improve until he is fully recovered. It was kind of you to take him out and continue the Bull Shoals tradition. I call that Laying up Treasurers. By the way, NICE WALLEYE!!!

Only 3 types of fish I think "worth" eating: Walleye, Red Ear (Shell Crackers down South of Arkansas), and Crappie.

@@MSmith-jf5wo 1pd to a pd and a half largemouth are good fried up..really mild tasting..but i agree with you..shellcrackers are good fried whole..and my favorite are crappie...fried up with a big ole pot of white beans and seasoning meat,homemade coleslaw,frenchfries and cornbread or hushpupies..big ol glass a sweet tea and lemon and nanner pudding for dessert...whooo...whoooo..yes siir!!@
@MSmith-jf5wo5 жыл бұрын
@@BAMA-2019 About the only thing I DON'T eat (when I'm "Hangry") is Possum and Cottom Mouth snakes. Everything else is "Fair Game", and that includes Large and Small Mouth BASS. Even Whit Bass, if they are runnin' over 3 pounds are good (but ya gotta cut out the strip of red from the sides, like Stripers, to take away that "fishy" taste!). Haha! As far as the cole slaw and hushpuppies go, that's FINE eating there! (I can't find a 50 pound sack of White Beans, though! I get a 50 pound bag of Pintos and a 20 to 25 pound bag of white rice every January, and that lasts me nearly a whole year. Been eating like that since the mid '40s, and I'm still a kickin'!). Haha! Those must not be very big shellcrackers ya got 'round your neck of the woods. Most of ours (that we keep) weigh over a pound, and they wouldn't fit in a fryer even with the heads cut off!

@@MSmith-jf5wo I agree on all 3 of those. I would throw in a medium sized filet of snook on the side. white steaks baby!

I love your channel Roland but I despise the Alabama rig. It feels like cheating and every fish you catch really gets hurt with many hooks sticking into it.
