Yeh went on a bit of a rant there...my point was the people who are a little bit better off somehow think they are immune to problems society will face when you rob the majority of people under say 40 of opportunity. Opportunity to live in an affordable home is one of those things. Not having a go at them or anything - just saying we all have to live in this world.

He is absolutely correct. Social cohesion is now fucked. Increased youth crime is inevitable as they feel they have no future and nothing to risk.

@@willbellmortgagebroker my parents bought their first home for $10,000 30 years later for our first home we paid 10 times as much, $97,500 in 1994 and today in 2024, 30 year later that home is worth about $750,000. It wasn't easy for us 30 years ago it wasn't easy for my parents and yes it won't be easy for my kids. It's a tough world and there and there is no gimmes.
