Great to watch the video behind the picture of your caribou from Alaska that you posted months ago on Instagram. Congratulations to you and your buddies on your big beautiful bulls. The three guys that my youngest brother, my Dad and I met up with in Idaho in 2019 for a mule deer 🦌 hunt are going on a drop camp 🏕 caribou hunt in Alaska. I am interested in how that goes for them. My Dad and brothers would love to do a moose or caribou hunt in Alaska but the logistics of getting there and figuring out how to get potential meat 🍖 back to West Virginia is a concern. I did listen 🎧 to your podcast about that awhile ago.

To be clear, we've all made imperfect shots, this isn't a judgement on marksmanship or intended shot placement; I do feel it absolutely should have been addressed in the video though. Acknowledge the imperfect shot and use it as a teaching moment for the thousands of people watching. Ignoring it and acting like all is well is dangerous...

@NateWilliams1293 жыл бұрын
@@ProperRural If you mean not making a shot like that at 200, then yeah I totally agree. To miss by THAT much at 200 is remarkably bad. Again, maybe there was something that contributed to that? But we'll never know, they just acted like the shots were good and moved on.

I didn’t understand everyone having to stay inside during the initial COVID lockdown, like I understand business like restaurants n shut closing. But I heard people having to leave places where they were hiking. Like seriously? Being outside with nobody else, out in the woods IS NOT going to affect anybody and I think law enforcement knew that, they just wanted a reason to be a dick that day. At that point, staying in your house all day everyday is way worse and more prone on getting COVID rather than being outside enjoying the weather
@_007B Жыл бұрын
Awful shooting😬 6:12 wayy behind then shoots him in the neck for a follow up… idk I’d look for a more ethical hobby if I were you. Or practice more with your rifle before going on experienced level hunting trips.
