Located off the beaten path in Wilton Manors, Florida (an Island City adjacent to Fort Lauderdale and a GAY mecca) is a gem of a restaurant & coffee shop called THE ALCHEMIST GARDEN CAFE. It is eclectic, artsy and quaint with excellent coffee and very good food. Opened in 2016, The Alchemist Garden Cafe has been named the Best Coffee Shop in Broward County, FL by numerous magazines and newspapers. After dining here for the 1st time, we concur! We look forward to returning.

You Guys should go back to that place where you had your Brunch but at Night, I think it'll be Amazing lit up with all those Lights (and if you do) ask the waiters for regular Spoon and Fork (As apposed to the plastic) they might be able to accommodate you Guys. Cute restaurant. JC'S comment about usually having to wait an hour or more for a table and here no wait struck a chord with me. If we go out for breakfast and there's more than a 10-minute wait we go somewhere else. I'm okay with wait times for dinner but not for my breakfast. The graffiti art was very enjoyable. Yeah, unfortunately this time of year most restaurants have long waits because of many "snow birds" wintering in South Florida. We rarely will wait if more than 15-20 minutes.

Why does a wonderful restaurant/cafe use cheap plastic cutlery, and not the real deal? Especially with delicious crunchy food! You need a real knife! It wasn't very loud, our microphone is very sensitive. The restaurant next door had a live musician playing so it seemed louder than it is.

I really wish places would just be a restaurant...and not a dang disco with thumpa thumpa music turned up to 11. Especially for brunch. Geeze...do they think we're going to break into dance here?

Yeah we agree that sometimes if the music is too loud it takes away from the nice relaxing brunch. This wasn't too bad though.

Secret?? Not if you grew up in south Florida. I was raised in Wilton manors and in the 1970s we saw that gay men were buying up houses and gentrifying. Oh, you mean the restaurant. Oh, ok. Never mind. 😂😂😂
