I suggest any sampler base producer to check out Todd Edward's records from the 90s- 2011. He uses micro-samples from 5+ songs in almost every song and makes unique soulful harmonies that sound totally different than the original tracks. Just check out his Whosampled page. It's very inspirational. Especially with the sampler he used to use

The key to having multiple samples in a song is by just sampling all kinds of different musical pieces and saving em n experimenting to see what works. A lot of different producers have used multiple samples from different records in songs. Hank Shocklee n The Bomb Squad did it for Public Enemy and Ice Cubes First 3 solo albums as well as ATCQ, Pete Rock, DITC, Dr. Dre (NWA & Deathrow days) it’s not a new concept.
@beataddict5475Ай бұрын
It's crazy because back in the day i thought i was the only one in the world using multiple records to make 1 joint. Nothing better than glueing all the different pieces from different puzzles into 1 puzzle and it actually going together.

The thing about dirty pads, if you’ve cleaned them once, they’ll never get dirty again. Stock pads have this waxy residue that holds on to dirt, but once you wipe your pads with alcohol, it’ll stay clean

I’ve had mostly all the Mpc’s. Honestly speaking, in die hard fast situations with artist breathing down your neckline to get the beats out to tape or the computer, all the older mpc sounded better but sucked on work flow far as stems. The mpc x, live are top notch minus a few db in sound quality.
