People crying for Bowman to be replaced are a joke. No other team has had all 4 cars in championship contention like Hendrick has recently. Bowman may not be the best at Hendrick, but he does his part. No one cried for Dale Jr to be replaced when he underperformed for years at Hendrick, and had back luck. Jr is my favorite driver, but Bowman so far he has almost had the same amount of wins as dale Jr at Hendrick in 3 less years. He shouldn't be replaced. No reason to. No reason to develop a new driver to have them stacked up against Kyle Larson, or chase and Byron. It just makes no sense to replace him. Ally likes him.

The bubba and byron thing was clarified. Bubba had all 4 tires in the blue. Byron had at least 2. The rule was as long as you had one or two tires on the red(curb) your fine to go into the blue. But Bubba had all 4 in the blue. Hence why he got the pen and byron didnt
@nightraider9451Ай бұрын
@@C4r0n1k In the video you can clearly see blue between Byrons car and the kerb in the apex. If Nascar wants to pick and choose what is a corner cut and what isnt, fine. But if they want to be a fair sport then both should have been penalised as both were fully on the blue at the apex.

ive been a bowman fan since he took over for dale jr but kinda half assed it. I regained my obsession with the sport ever since nascar came to RA in 21 so i could see them in person. absolutely rekindled my love as a child for this sport. Being a bowman fan has its ups and downs. Winning 4 races in 21 to an injury at texas that ruined his 22 season. From being winless in 23 to winning at chicago and making a phenomenal playoff run while in the midst of getting shit on for being the "fourth hendrick car/driver" I can pretty confidently say all of us bowman fans were so proud of that 48 team to absolutely turn it on in the playoffs and went from a first round exit to a legitimate title contender (bit far stretched yes but still) RO16 proved it. By far the most points of any team followed by a solid RO8 capturing tons of stage points. 9/10 stages post roval pre DQ. He cemented his spot into the RO8 hell even overall points would kinda back that up to. The top 8 in points were the top 8 still in title contention, still in the playoffs. So man when i said i was high off that bowman playoff ride is a massive understatement. We got all the momentum so you wonder what could possibly go wrong for this team then while i'm chillin watch SNF boom. NO. 48 DQ'd Alex Bowman out Joey Logano in. I couldn't believe it. I genuinely thought it was bs until my twitter started blowing tf up. I knew the inevitable had just happened. It was over. Too light on the scale with many opportunities given to meet said weight limit and still could not I just knew it was over. I saw many saying "oh don't worry we have a chance the turtle incident on lap 2 or wtv is enough for a hendrick appeal" just something told me nah it's over. I listened to The Teardown the next morning and saw their live reaction listened to actions detrimental w denny hamlin to get some of his insight and I just watched my phone like a hawk waiting for that hendrick appeal. (i just kinda started believing ppl actually had a point on twitter) i waited all day to get a notification from jeff gluck.. Hendrick motorsports decides not to appeal. Now that didnt shatter me what shattered me was reading the official statement and seeing that "even though unintentional it was avoidable" that shit sucked. Why take that risk or if it so happened to be the turtle incident idk idc im just baffled and honestly stunned and pretty hurt. All this momentum telling everyone in the industry to go f themselves cuz The Showman is back baby then, he wasn't. Gotta be the most insane sports roller coaster i have ever been apart of just because it was my favorite driver.

Lighter does not always mean faster, if ballast fell off mid race it can absolutely ruin the handling of a race car (which would explain the 18th place finish). In any case I’m less concerned about bowman and more concerned about yet another champion since 2020 that doesn’t deserve it. Can anyone honestly say that Elliot, Lagano, Blaney deserved championships with the years they had? Lagano’s average finishing position this year is 18th for gods sake with two wins. This just highlights how broken the playoff is. The only deserving champion so far this decade is Larson, all the others a Mickey Mouse champs.

He's still yet to finish worse than 6th(?) at Phoenix in this Gen 7 car and has had the best car in the past 2 fall races there. He's pretty good at the remaining four tracks too. @@nightraider9451 except if nascar didn't have the blue curb nothing happens most likely. There is literally no possible way the team can remove 18+lbs during pitstops. The pre race to post race difference is the issue here in my opinion. NASCAR should have found the issue prior to the race. They're allowed .5 percent, which on a 3400lb car is 17lbs, so it was more than that. How much is not clear. However, we know the teams probably run a car as light as possible, so they're already at the edge, which means they probably only have to lose a piece of the car that's only pound or 2 to fall under the weight. It could very well be that something fell off the car, which if NASCAR goes over the car more closely they should be able to find. I'm sure they'll look at tape and at the car to see if something damaged. My question is: what if they do find that something came off the car and it is the difference in the weight? Does that mean Logano is out and Bowman back in? Because it would be kinda shitty to tell a team they're in, then tell them they're out in this sort of situation. So, we could potentially get a Round of 9. I doubt we will, but it's NASCAR, so I won't count it out.
@nightraider9451Ай бұрын
@@nomadman5288 the 0.5% (17lb) leeway should be for post race inspection only, to account for damage among other things. In the pre race inspection the car has to be on weight, no leeway. If the car is ran so close to the limit and surpasses the leeway, the penalty is clear cut.
