The Algarve in the Winter - what is it like?

Will you have a good time in the Algarve in winter? We spent a month in Albufeira over the winter holidays, and thought we would talk about what our experience was like in the low season. Yes, it can get chilly, it still is winter, but midday can also be quite lovely, and we wore shorts and tshirts when we were walking around in the sun on the beach. Plus you get the bonus of holiday activities!

A direct flight from Faro? That is much better than what we had to do, though to be fair we were coming from Mexico. And I hope you have a terrific stay there, we loved it.

for locals its winter weather for anyone else is t-shirt and shorts weather

That was our experience! 😆 We pulled on coats for our early morning or evening walks, but it was quite nice midday most of the time.
