The first time I heard this song, my first thought was, "How the hell does this song not get air time?!" I'm not taking anything away from "Dirty Little Secret" or "Move Along", both of which got played plenty on the radio, but this song, to me, is easily the best song on the album, and I see it almost being a crime that it didn't also get radio play.

They were never really that popular, they had real fans and they had one big hit with 'Gives You Hell' which to be honest, was probably their worst song out of them all, though it did give them quite a lot of temporary popularity. It doesn't matter though, because the real fans will always be here.

Actually, they had multiple big hits before "Gives You Hell." "Dirty Little Secret," "Swing, Swing," "It Ends Tonight," and "Move Along" were all Top 40 hits. It's just that "Gives You Hell" was that one song which blew up so big that it became their signature hit.
